so in this new upcomming gta6, when you are playing as the female beaner, do you think they'll let you dress up as a hooker and jump in a johns car to rob them, or maybe even straight up blow em with a hot coffee style minigame? like a reversal from previous gta game hooker interactions? or do you think they will try to be lazy and inoffensive and not even bother coding differences between male and female hooker interactions so it just looks like a copy and paste of gta5 male characters with hookers? im personally hedging my bets on them removing hookers altogether and then just saying "oh beaner & clyde are so in love with each other they would never do that"

That is interesting. I remember GTA Advance originally being listed as just GTA III for GBA in a few magazines never knew there was more to it.
That reminds me, there's also a GTA Advance mod for GTA III out now.

At least this is the first I'm hearing of it. AI voices ruins the experience. I like how it uses the alpha cartoon visuals of GTA III.

Raw hardware performance is one thing, but the PS2 always exceled at it's unique architecture, which is also what gave all those PS2 games that characteristic blurry look. Not to mention that PC hardware of that time would only really be better than the PS2 if you went for the high end, and if you were in the low-mid range then you'd be lacking behind the PS2, and those PC ports had to run on all PC's of that time, so sacrifices had to be made one way or another.
I miss this in consoles. You don't get a console that is both insanely underpowered and also some of the best you'll get anymore. Everything's just a gimped PC now. :(

Then again, the PS2 and PS3 were torture to develop for (which is why many devs including Rockstar used stuff like RenderWare for development)
your source is dumbfuck twitter account?
"oh beaner & clyde are so in love with each other they would never do that"
They'll do something similar to IV I assume, where you can pick up hookers but the character will immediately call themselves a piece of shit for it.

An Eddie Low video had to be reuploaded because of YouTube (A) . Content: Eddie Low is a serial killer in GTA IV.

YouTube is updating their graphic content policy come November 17th, 2025.

YouTube's strengthened approach to online gambling and graphic violence in gaming

Announcement
Hi Creators,

Starting on November 17th, 2025, we’ll be strengthening enforcement of our Community Guidelines around online gambling and graphic violence in gaming.

Our policies are designed to evolve alongside the digital world. We’re making these updates to keep pace with new trends, like gambling with digital goods, and to more closely align our guidelines for mature content with industry standards.

HERE’S A SUMMARY OF WHAT’S CHANGING:

  • Online gambling content. Our current policy prohibits content that directs viewers to online gambling sites or applications that are not certified by Google. We’re expanding our enforcement to now cover online gambling with additional items that have monetary value, including digital goods (e.g. video game skins, cosmetics and NFTs).
  • Social casino content. We’re updating our approach to casino-style games where nothing of real-world monetary value is wagered or cashed out. Content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates social casino sites will now be age-restricted.
  • Graphic gaming content. In addition to our existing guidelines around graphic gaming content, we will age-restrict an additional small subset of video game content featuring realistic human characters that focuses on scenes of torture or scenes of mass violence against non-combatants. We’ll consider several factors when reviewing this type of content such as:
    • Duration - If the graphic scene is sustained (rather than fleeting). For compilation videos, we’ll now consider the cumulative duration of all of the graphic clips combined.
    • Prominence - If the violent imagery is zoomed-in or the main focus of the scene
    • Realistic human characters - If the violence is happening to a character that looks like a real human

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU AND YOUR CONTENT:

We expect most channels will experience little to no impact but we know this is a lot of information, and we want to ensure you have time to adapt.
  • Existing videos. Content uploaded before November 17, 2025, that violates these guidelines may be removed or age-restricted, but will not result in a strike. Remember, age-restricted videos can stay on your channel for 18+ audiences.
  • Making edits: For creators who have content that’s in-scope of these updates, you may be able to edit your video description or use our video editor trim or blur tools to make any necessary changes before November 17, 2025.
  • Notifications: If we age-restrict or remove your content, we'll notify you by email. If you disagree with the decision, you can always choose to appeal.

For more details, please review our Help Center articles on Illegal or Regulated Goodsand Violent or Graphic Content.

With GTA 6 on the horizon, this would affect a lot of content creators. Wouldn't this affect YouTube as a platform since they'd likely get a cut from those videos thanks to the ad revenue?

Color me shocked.

I really wish I had faith that all this extra time was being dedicated to fun gameplay but I have a strong suspicion that they’re stuck on this games equivalent of equestrian balls & shit.
