I hope that LM is right in that Johnny's constant bad behavior and chimp outs mean that this nobody story is being covered well by the press and the general disappointment at the lax 6 month sentence will pressure the judge to add time on appeal.

I personally hope this is the case as it will be even more devastating to Johnny that right when he began to come to terms with his sentence he would then learn that no.. actually you won't get out in 6 months enjoy another year.

If he didn't stream after the charges he probably would have received 0 time.
There are deepfake cases in Korea where people produced hundreds of actually explicit images and videos and got off with nothing because it was their first offense+not profit driven.

He'll do 6 months folding laundry (maybe even less if an appeal actually goes through) and be back home streaming again, he won't be on the sex registry like everyone hopes either

Isn't the sex offense because he made some AI video of him kissing another streamer? Wouldn't making him register as a sex offender in the USA when the offense in question something that is (probably) constitutionally protected speech in the USA be an infringement on his rights?
Johnny didn't get sex offender status, the work restriction everyone is misreporting on as sex offender status is merely a automatic thing under Korean law for anyone convicted of any offense punishable by prison time

I assume the misunderstanding was due to the judge giving a mandatory warning to him of this law at sentencing like US judges being obligated to tell people convicted of felonies that they can no longer possess firearms

It was probably something along the lines of this

Being found guilty for a criminal offense that is punishable by prison time will result in you being restricted from employment at any place of work that caters to minors and the disabled for up to 5 years after release

That's why everyone is soyying out now thinking that Johnny Somali has sex offender status now.

If that was the case, the Court would've had to explicitly say that per Korean law.
(2) A court shall, when passing a sentence under paragraph (1) on a sex offender subject to registration, notify him/her of the fact that he/she is subject to registration and has the duty to submit his/her personal information pursuant to Article 33.

The Korean sex offender registry law says the following
Article 32 (Persons Subject to Registration of Personal Information)
(1) Any person who is finally declared guilty of committing a crime referred to in any of Articles 2 (1) 3 and 4 and (2) (limited to paragraph (1) 3 and 4 of the same Article), 3 through 10 and 14 (hereinafter referred to as "sexual crime subject to registration") or who is conclusively declared to be subject to a disclosure order pursuant to Article 37 (1) 2 shall be subject to registration of personal information (excluding those subject to registration of personal information under Article 33 of the Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles from Sexual Abuse; hereinafter referred to as "person subject to registration").
To whit only these following enumerated crimes qualify.
Article 297 - Rape
Article 298 - Indecent act by compulsion
Article 299 - Rape or indecent act by abuse of authority
Article 300 - Attempted rape / indecent act
Article 301 - Injury or death resulting from rape/indecent act
Article 301-2 - Murder after rape
Article 302 - Sexual intercourse under pretense of marriage, etc.
Article 303 - Sexual intercourse by abuse of occupational authority
Article 305 - Sexual intercourse or indecent act with a minor

TL;DR @Null Johnny Somali isn't a sex offender now, Korean law says anyone sent to prison can't work with children and cripples for a set amount of time after release irregardless of the actual crime committed, only violent sexual offenses or actually touching kids gets you SO status in Korea.

They should bring back whipping, just for this dumb gorilla nigger and have the other prisoners take turns whipping his black ass.

Regardless of 6 months, I'm very confident he will get harshly fucked with in jail. Nobody likes him, everyone knows him, and that one korean marine basically beat his ass ON CAMERA, got given a tiny fee which community rushed to pay on his behalf. Now that hes IN jail, I honestly cannot imagine it getting better. I imagine many in prison will see him as an acceptable target, and outside killing him, I think prison guards won't rush to protect him either . Even if hes not getting beaten or raped, I'm convinced he's basically not having a single friend for 6 months, at BEST.

From what I understand their prisons are actually focused more on punishment (hence why this negro has to actually work for the first time in his life), unlike e. g. Scandinavian prisons focused on trying to "fix" the prisoners (and that's how you get e. g. daily bombings in Sweden, with only a tiny violent minority).
Be nice if we could have a mix. Like maybe non violent crimes go to the one where you try to fix them and then violent offenders go to the punishment one. I wouldnt mind someone that just got busted for possession or child support getting a second chance.

Oh don't worry Southeast Asia is one of the most racist places in the world. Chinks don't care for niggers. His ass will be beaten, I guarantee it.

If the eastern district charges actually go through, he will become a CHILD sexual offender, as well as a recidivist with multiple sex crimes to his name. He will be beyond fucked in the USA, as it stands right now he's still a convicted sex offender in another nation, and that automatically gets him on the list in the states, though he might be able to appeal it.

I've seen a couple comments that he's not on the sex registry but an employment registry, I'm pretty sure that's not the case. All the sources on the ground, Korean and American have all said sex offender registry.
It doesn't automatically put him on the list in the states. They will investigate and if what hes charged with in Korea doesn't meet the requirement (it doesnt) to be on the list in America, he wont be put on it.
He didn't diddle kids, produce csam, threaten kids, or even physically touch any adult.

That's why I nuked that post. Changing info made it inaccurate.

However if the Eastern circuit charges which ARE involving child sexual harassment are pressed he will 95% be convicted on those, amd then he will be on both the Korean and American sex offender registry with crimes against minors and will be ultimately beyond fucked.

What case was that even? Lotte world TTS? Those were already mentioned in the Korean articles about this court case, if they haven't gone anywhere yet I don't expect them to.
But still as I said, nothing hes done in Korea would put him on a list in America if they were to look into it (they will)

They might have been waiting for him to be convicted for these crimes and now that he was, he will be charged with the Eastern District stuff.

So he's a sex offender cause of the lap dance he did Infront of the statues?
Deep fake it's a crime in South Korea.
* only reason he went to jail instead of fine because it's mandatory *
I would agree for clarification but this to hair's we splitting.
Question is will usa agree? & non issue because it can be removed later on.

It isnt mandatory actually, if it was just the singular deepfake or both, it probably would have got 0 time suspended. But he had 8 charges already.

I doubt it, probably cause its a real stretch

You know.. actually related the US just convicted a guy (James Strahler II, 37) the other day for using AI to generate lewd of women, black mailed them etc. under the new "Take it Down Act" I was going to post it to the legal board but I am too old and retarded to do it properly and dont want Null to mock me.

All that to say that it's not just Korea that has laws on deepfakes now. And although that guy in question was much more heiniousI wonder if the US would apply the penalties in a similar way and make Johnny register.

Well yes partially but note that it was also for generating deepfakes of women.

Check out the writing for the "Take It Down Act" . It's purpose is specifically in reference to Deepfakes.

That guy really dug himself a hole but it wasnt JUST the CP. (Ug what a sentence)
