The full schedule is posted on the website, but apparently they are on Instagram posts (off to a great start).
Registration is advertised as free.
Not only did they post their schedule on instagram, but they did it at HORRIBLY low resolution so trying to read it as god awful. I can only assume it's better if you actually have an instagram account? (I don't)
Who has a convention during 4th of July? I may be a weeb, but I'd much rather be out at a BBQ than watch this bs
TBF, the largest anime convention in the country is traditionally on July 4th weekend. Actually, as a bonus they are also doing an online event (AnimeExpoLite) this weekend, that alone makes this the stupidest idea imaginable.

Oh wait, sorry, I didn't take into account that they have an interview with "King Vader" who made some cringey ass MHA youtube video. Well, that'll bring in all the non-spergs.

Are you implying that MHA fans aren't spergs?

Is there even a specific time for the event tomorrow and Saturday?

Just from the announcement alone, this looks half-assed.

According to the Instagram posts (when you squint and hold the screen up to your face), it starts at 10:15 AM CDT. Or at least that's "opening remarks", whatever the fuck.

EDIT: Aniplex is gonna be joining in more on day two, they have a living room session the first day around 5:00 PM CDT.

Oh God is it going to be all directly through the Funimation website?

I've seen nothing that has stated that it'll be streamed on Funimation's YouTube channel (maybe the streams will be uploaded there later?), so that seems to be the logical choice.
Given how Funimation's record has been regarding its own streaming service, well...... let's just say there could be laughs to be had.

That just guarantees that literally nobody is going to show up.

Imagine if the first thing you see is Jamie Marchi's or Monica Rial's face once the initial and laggy buffering ends. :(

Poked around for a little. Nothing out of the ordinary. The streams seemed to have no issues. The chat seems to be standard shit posting.
I'm guessing they're pulling in okay numbers, right? Did there seem to be a lot of viewers?

With Day 1 coming to a close, anyone got any comments about it?
For me, it was about what I expected in terms of stream connections (very iffy).

Seems run of the mill, albeit through a stream. I didn't detect much connection issues, though I watched in chunks of 5 minutes or so since I was at work. I was mostly looking at chat to see if anyone would sperg out.
