He can appeal, but the fact that he made the choice to no-show means the courts aren't going to reverse the decision to issue the RO, all other things considered.

He had his chance and now we get even more content about him bitching about the courts in California.

Maybe that was just at the time it was last updated, which was back in July, he could have got an attorney since then and it wouldn't show up on the record necessarily until it gets updated again. I'm just speculating though I don't really know how it works.

It would be stupid for him to bother hiring a lawyer for it, since he knows he'll loose after losing to ade, and vickers has a lot more ammunition against ralph than ade did, I think.

Ralph would also be battling to pay child support which in his pickled brain isn't worth doing. Abandoning his son allows him to have more money for booze and pills. He'll just stop talking about Xander and the 15 people who watch his show will forget it ever happened.

That's true, but he is also extremely petty and will go great lengths to harm anyone he feels has "wronged" him. I don't think it's really contact with his child he wants, he's using that as an excuse. What he really wants is to be able to legally shit talk vickers. It's no different than the situation with ade. If he could get the restraining order thrown out, he can shit talk vickers while continuing to not pay child support, since he's already been paper aborted.

I slightly disagree because it's in his best interest to avoid the subject of Vickers altogether. He has literally paper aborted his son and that will be brought up every time he tries to shit talk them. At least this gives him an out in his mind.
