I don't think in an obvious term this court case will have much of an impact, just like how the last one didn't. It may expose just how much money Barb owes and her complaining about it may prompt a more desperate video beg from Chris than normal but that's probably the height of it.

I don't think they actually attended the last one so I doubt she'll go to this one either. She doesn't really need to, to be fair. Her prescence won't affect the ruling so it's essentially a procession.
 
The date is listed at 11:30AM, which is 4,5 hrs from now.
Will take a while for the website to update though.

The thing is, even though the court might rule in their favour, they don't enforce this in civil matters (just look at the wrongful death case of OJ Simpson)
Like stated earlier, the bank will pass this debt on to a collections agency which will try to set up a payment-plan.
If Barb doesn't pay, they could go and get a lien on the house, but that seems like a waste of time since there is a mortgage and likely other creditors further in line.

Nothing will happen, really.

To be honest, having that lumpen pile of entitled redneck going off on one in the courtroom would probably weight the ruling against her, so it's probably best that she lets her apathy win out.
 
I do look forward to an especially desperate Chris begging video. That's about the biggest short-term consequence of this I can imagine.

Jokes on them, she'll no doubt set up a payment plan with no intention of following, or have Chris sign something over as collateral. Hell, she's dying, not going to be her problem.

Or another continuance, which seems to be the Chandler Way.

Lien is likely to happen depending on how much the debt is. If judgment rules in favor of the plaintiff an abstract of judgment can be recorded in the greene circuit land records for only $10. It's not uncommon to record a lien and just have it sit until (if) something happens, such as bankruptcy.

Depends on whether Barb actually has some money. We don't really know whether they're scofflaws or actually broke.

If so, continuance continuance continuance, settlement deal, Barb pays minimum for a while, then breaks deal, stalls for time some more, etc. etc. Or just blows it off entirely and waits for the sheriff to show up and try to seize the rotting pile of worthless garbage that is a metaphor for Barb herself.
