The autism is strong with this post. Wanting McDonalds to change its layout back like this reminds me a bit of Blarms.

"felt Good and Sociable" Chris making it sound like he hangs out with all his friends at McD's.

I wonder why Chris doesn't like the self service kiosks, surely they'd be great for someone as awkward as him?

I'm sure McDonald's will get over distrupting the routine of someone they would rather not see anymore vs. the profits to be gained from improving ordering efficiency.

The world is yours, Chris.

It's not that he doesn't like the kiosks, he doesn't like that the seats are closer together and by the window now, as light will sometimes touch the seats and nearby customers will be close enough to smell him.

He might have liked the fact that he could talk to the cashiers and not give them a chance to leave, but he has no issue with the kiosk given his "solution" was to put the kiosk in front of the window instead of remove it.

More sociable. Remember all those photos and reports of Chris eating alone at McDonald's? Get over it, Chris. I'm sure that the last thing on someone's mind while sucking down a big mac is making eye contact with a greasy haired, pot belly tranny.
This new design is probably efficient at getting people like Chris out of the place in less than 20 minutes to make room for even more lard asses.

Slightly OT but why kick the old folks out? The McDonalds corporation doesn't exactly need the money they're losing from a few pensioners sitting around and not eating a full meal each. For all the trouble of calling 911 to shift them, they might as well just let them sit in.

Also, I can totally see why Chris would hang out in a McDonalds. Familiar setting, bright colours, WiFi, and he can get up at any time to spend pocket change on a meal with zero nutritional value and a "collectible" toy. It has Chris written all over it. And if McDonalds in the US are anything like the ones near me, he's probably not the strangest person in there in the evenings.

Isn't there a reason the kiosks are slap bang in the middle of the restaurant?
