Slightly OT but why kick the old folks out? The McDonalds corporation doesn't exactly need the money they're losing from a few pensioners sitting around and not eating a full meal each. For all the trouble of calling 911 to shift them, they might as well just let them sit in.

Tables full of (mostly) non-paying old people preventing actual customers from sitting down? Refusing to leave and then coming back in as soon as the police are gone? Getting hostile with the managers and spilling coffee in response to being asked to leave? Calling the cops seems pretty easy, especially if paying customers are avoiding the place.

Chris's location isn't someplace nearly as busy as Queens so he doesn't have to worry. Although it's true, I'd rather have a bunch of well-dressed (if pissed off) Korean dudes than Chris and his various CPU goddesses and dimensional ponies around him.

I am sure the world's most recognisable fast food chain will spend a fortune reversing the changes they made just to please a few autists.

Yes this is just like blarms. Call it the McBlarms Saga. They remodeled because they’re struggling to make profits. He’s not the only poor person clogging up the restaurants. I often see older people who look like meth heads using the kid’s touchscreen setup for long stretches of time. I think those got pulled out to make room for the new ordering kiosks. I’m glad Chris is upset, he would make me leave a McD’s if I saw him sitting there trying to talk to people.

I don't know what McDonalds he's talking about, since the two local to mine didn't do anything after the most recent remodel but drop the two touch kiosks at the back of the 'waiting' area since customers gather there anyway, the table layout otherwise is completely unchanged.

Personally I think this is just him getting mad that something he took for granted and was used to got changed on him and as always, sudden change does not register well with him.

2 solutions to the booth Korean problem:
1. Start charging people $5 for every extra hour they spend there and not eating
2. Ban em. All you need is a photo of one of them to put up a do not serve sign in the window and you're good. As long as no other elderly Asians enter the store.

To solve the Chris situation:
1. Do nothing. It's not like he'll stop going there, and McDonalds's is doing a good job of ignoring it already.

Here is the exact branch for those wondering, Chris geotagged it in his tweets.

And here I was hoping he got banned from the Ruckersville McDonalds. I wonder why he's choosing now to complain since that McDonalds has had those kiosks for months now.

Edit: just realized he was talking about another location. I guess he's not banned from that one anymore.

He's just upset he can't people watch from anymore with himself faced against the glass.

Staring at people's butts =/= socializing, Chris

Also, I can totally see why Chris would hang out in a McDonalds. Familiar setting, bright colours, WiFi, and he can get up at any time to spend pocket change on a meal with zero nutritional value and a "collectible" toy. It has Chris written all over it. And if McDonalds in the US are anything like the ones near me, he's probably not the strangest person in there in the evenings.

Chris's real love affair with McDonald's has more to do with its food court locations than anything else. He could sit there for hours back in the day eating nuggets and playing vidya while staring at the women coming in and out of Victoria's Secret.

Has Chris ever eaten any real food ? Has he enjoyed a paella or Mediterranean cuisine ? Roast beef? A nice rare ribeye? Lobster?

A Goddess shouldn't eat food injected with cancer and synthetic crap intended for the mundane proletariat.

He got banned from a McDonalds? Just how many places is he banned from?

I think by sociable he means that it's more of an open air concept, like an open air office vs having cubicles. Even if you're not talking to anyone, you can still feel their presence.. or something.
Anyways though, I've never seen anyone use the kiosks. Do people actually use them outside of super busy locations(like a mcdonalds in downtown nyc)?

Barb used to cook for him and Bob, but she stopped years ago. I think he's been eating frozen food ever since, but he has tweeted about buying premade salads at the supermarket.
