There is no reason for him to evade court. There is literally nothing they can do. Chris doesnt own the house and he has nothing of value to sell for debt collectors to take to settle the debt.

They cant touch his tugboat, because unless it is a government debt you cant take government issued funds.

Correct me if im wrong but Chris has no reason to not go.

How hard is it to declare bankruptcy? Could Chris do it to wash away his CC debt? A cash-only existence would be better for him.

I think Chris or Barb took out a second mortgage on their house (correct me if I'm wrong on that) so if they declare bankruptcy then the bank will take their house.

Its utterly fucked that the old cunt made Chris co-sign her debt.

And instead of Chris standing up to his mother and telling her to fuck right off, he just allows her to do it. Chris life post Barb is going to be a gigantic Trainwreck full of begging, swearing, and delusions that he can pay everyone back with c quarters

Or sucking a lot of dicks. 20 bucks is 20 bucks.

Just curious, what's the absolute worst punishment someone in Chris's situation can receive?

He clearly won't go to a high security prison, but is there a possibility of jail time or would he just lose the house?

Truthfully? Being homeless. Mental Institutions don't really pick up anyone anymore but even if he goes to jail he's getting a meal everyday and has somewhere to sleep. Sure he will not survive prison life but he isn't going to die like the actual sickos do. Him going homeless however will take him away from the internet, put him in danger of getting the police called on him or even potentially killed if someone views him as a threat, and without constant food or water.

However both of those mean no more bantz about Chris on the Farms so it's terrible either way.

I mean from a legal standpoint.
What's the worst sentence a judge a judge can hand someone for failing to pay a loan company the debts they owe?

Bruh. First thing, being homeless (as in, on the street) will be a for sure ticket to jail (and possibly prison, eventually) for Chris.

Also, you might be underestimating the nature of the American penal system. Chris would get punked out so hard in prison. Chris already gets punked out by actual children. Jails and prisons are filled with incredibily manipulative people, who are much more practiced at exploiting the vulnerable than internet trolls.

Chris’ autism and nature are sure to rub someone the wrong way. His poor hygine is sure to catch him a chin check. He’s a tomgirl who thinks he’s part Pokemon, if anyone else needed a reason to fuck with him or bust them cheeks. His protective hedgehog mode isn’t really gonna help him on the inside.

For this unsecured debt? Nothing, really. His credit is surely already in the toilet and it's not like he's not used to bill collectors. No real income to go after, although it could haunt him later on if he ever got any (fat chance). Tards don't get thrown in prison for not paying a credit card bill.

In general? Repossessions and foreclosure. There's not much worth anything but the house and even that's questionable, although the mortgage company probably doesn't know that.

The house is in Barb's name.

Also in Virginia, Chris' personal property can't be taken to settle debts (except for secured loans, of course). They can put a lien on your car or your house but not, say, your TV. This means they can't take Chris' toys.

They can garnish his income, but not his tugboat. I don't know if garnishment works at the bank level or the employer level, so maybe they can watch his bank account for any stray ebay sales? No clue.

But yeah, if they get a default judgement, Chris is going to get real poor, real fast.

Ah, in which case Chris could probably make a bunch of money under the table without the creditor knowing about it.
He could still get a bank levy, though, which would allow creditors to take from his account. Actually, that would be more likely, thinking about it, since it's been over 3000 days since Chris so much as applied for a job. They couldn't take his tugboat money, but, as far as I know, it would be on him to prove what income is tardbux and what income is from other sources.
