It's funny, looked up "how long average to pay warrant in debt" and this article came up:
https://robertweed.com/2010/04/04/what-you-need-to-know-when-you-get-a-warrant-in-debt/
It looks like Virginia is very defendant friendly in these cases, provided the defendant follows some very specific instructions, which I don't believe Chris did. Under normal circumstances this type of case is a prelude to either immediat total debt payment or filing bankruptcy. I don't think Chris can do either.

He really needs to go the whole five minutes down to BB&T, open another checking account for Patreon/eBay/e-begging, and (if it's a thing BB&T does, since I know other banks will) label his original checking account as being for his tardbux; depending on how difficult these payments are going to be for him and if similar legal issues come up, intermingling those funds could prove painful for him. Then, once those are separated, work on paying off this debt so that he won't be completely fucked when Barb dies, he loses 14BC to her creditors, and has to try to get an apartment.
I agree, Ozark on Netflix would've been better starring Chris.

Since Chris thinks the dimensional merge is going to happen, and solve all of his problems, I bet he doesn't pay this back and instead lets it build up. Then, when reality hits, he will e-beg hard. And his paypigs will come through as usual

Yeah, I figured that somebody would hop onto that Patreon thing and at least throw enough coin at him to keep his head above the water. There seriously seems to be no way that this guy will ever face "real" consequences to his poor life choices. Let alone learn anything from them.

For some reason, I find the dimensional merge thing intriguing, yet completely confusing, at the same time. What I would give to be a fly on the wall at that psych eval.

Any company that will extend over two grand's worth of credit to a knucklehead like Chris must be well prepared to harass him with registered letters and telephone calls at all hours. Knowing Chris, he will use the same bank account for PayPal as his tugboat and the credit company will attach the whole mess. It will be up to Chris to prove which part of it is tugboat and which part is attachable. I would imagine that any expenditures during that month would be flagged as tugboat automatically up to the amount of the government check, and anything above that left over in the account would qualify as attachable. Chris will try to claim that he bought all the toys with the eBay money and he still has that tugboat, but I doubt that will fly.

Yeah that's the thing, the outcome of this isn't up to whims of some softy judge or church pastor or any other person that let Chris play the "me so poor and autistic" card. This is a collection agency. Their entire business is wringing money out of dumb poor people. Their clientele is %100 dumb poor people. And of that %100, I'm going to assume a sizable percentage is people on some government fixed income, because that's exactly the type of person that gets in over their head, and they will find a way to get their money in the end.

Oh, it'll happen. This is merely delaying the inevitable.

No it won't, the dimensional merge will erase all his debts and legal troubles, and Chris will live happily ever after with his pony and Sonichu OCs.

But honestly I think he'll be okay for a while, all he needs to do is beg a bit and fools will part with their gold as per the usual.

I suspect that Chris-chan was/is/will-be what they call "judgement proof". What, exactly are you going to collect on or repo from him? His used video game collection? His plus-size women's clothing? Does he even own a car? Plus there are all sorts of consumer loan protection laws too. Not that anyone follows the rules anymore.

He has no real equity, sure, but people that get into hock with these companies rarely do. From what I've read on the way this works is, Chris will default on this payment again, then they'll sue him again, and so on and so on, and eventually they'll get a sizable chunk of whatever his house eventually sells for, AND his credit will be fucked into the dirt. Chris will eventually lose $30,000 because he was too dumb to pay $3000 on time. It's why these companies are referred to as "predatory".

There's this :optimistic: idea that Chris will never be homeless and just keep skating by, but a large chunk of homeless people are exactly like Chris: mentally ill, no family, addicted to something(toys and vidya in Chris's case) and they fucked up royally at some crucial point in there life.

Wait, he owns a house? I can only imagine the kind of maintenance a - man - like him does on it.

Not yet, but he will for about 20 minutes after Barb dies.. Then it'll be immediately carved up by half a dozen banks and creditors and Chris will be lucky to have enough left over to rent a storage pod for a month.

I hate to be so dour about Chris's prospects, but even Marvin says Chris is banking on the cartoon rapture to save him. I mean shit.. He's not even begging for money. He's that friggin confident that he'll not have to deal with this.

Oh come now, it won't be *that* quick. They'll give him the boilerplate 30 days or so. And then the cops will probably take another 30 days to kick him out, in the hopes he'll move out on his own so they won't have to kick him out themselves, the lazy fucks. But unless he can find some gay sugar daddy to service, you're right, to the street he goes and then he'll end up dead shortly thereafter.

It's a sad sight to see the cops evict someone, all their shit piled up on the curb. If he was at all together in the head, he'd be asset stripping the house and using that to buy a motorhome or a towable RV and getting rid of anything that couldn't fit in it. But my guess is he'll probably just sit there on the curb and the cops will come by again to throw him in jail.

I'm not sure what to think about that, the reality of what Chris is going to be facing is nerve-wracking. His only hope it seems is if someone comes to his rescue.

I want to see Chris pull a sovereign citizen and "Waco compound" the shit out of 14 BLC when they come to take it from him.

"It's day 36 of the stand-off here in Ruckersville, Virginia. This morning president Trump has issued the use of deadly force to the national guard snipers stationed outside. This afternoon Christine issued a statement via his YouTube channel that "supplies were low and he was making the last of his coffee". Ho.. Hold on Steve.. We're getting reports that flames have been spotted in the northwest corner of the compound.."

Lol. (un)Fortunately I don't think he's ever had a history of anything approaching real violence, has he?

Thanks for that.

There's not much content you can get from a dead Chris-Chan.

Doesn’t barb have a reverse mortgage on 14 BLC? The house was never going to Chris in the first place, was it?

I mean.. Nigga got like three assault charges on his record..

No he'll probably never own it, even on paper, but the reverse mortgage thing is supposedly a myth.
