Note the tamped-down earth and bare dirt, as well as the patches of grass that look as if they've grown around something. It looks to me like the dumpster was moved fairly recently after sitting in the same spot for a long time...perhaps all spring, the way the grass is warped.

Quite possibly it's been emptied and replaced in the past few weeks...which would suggest that either the gutting of the house is continuing, VERY slowly, or enough of the hoard had been discarded to make it necessary to haul off a load.

Frankly, they both seem rather unlikely, but that dumpster moved for some reason.

I think so, maybe it is being cleaned out? One of the boards is on the ground which means someone has gone inside.

They've been installing insulation, hence the packaging in the second pic? I'm no expert, but I'd guess that would be an important step towards making 14BC habitable again.

So nothing has happened..

The obvious things are still there: same dumpster, window still boarded up on the wrong side etc. However there are some important changes here as well. I'm too lazy to go into this in depth right now but someone is starting to strip down the inside of the home. There's burnt framing members and drywall in the dumpster. From the nailing pattern that plywood looks like flooring underlay. The wallpaper makes me think they've started stripping out in the kitchen, and that's a little confusing because that's pretty much the the furthest room from the fire if I recognize 14BLC's floorplan. There's a lot more, but that's the important thing for now, and like I said before, I'm too lazy to go too into depth, at least until this hits the updates board. Suffice to say, someone is doing something at 14BLC, but fuck if I know what they think they're playing at. It could be any of a number of things, most of which themselves make little sense except for two things: Chris and Barb.

I'm a little curious as to what has been nibbling at the foundation by the greenhouse.

Well, that's longer than I estimated, but even if you mean September 22nd, it's not long enough. They're fucked. They've squandered too many months screwing around and now there's no way short of a Christmas Miracle that 14BLC could possibly be made habitable in time. And Christmas ain't until December 25th. At this point I doubt there's even time to level it, pour a slab, and drop in a double wide trailer. Hell, I don't think there's even enough time left for just the permitting process for that.

If ever there was a time when Chris needed to pay off debts and reduce his unnecessary possessions (legos), it's now. Or rather it was six months ago. But we all know what Chris has actually been doing…

tl;dr: Things are about to get Ugly with a capital Ugh.
