Nick Rekieta said "DSP's conmsoles are woth more then their current market value since they are DSP's belongings" I bet, some trolls would defintely buy them for a higher price just so they can show them off. And I think that he would probabaly at leat keep his PS4 PRO so he can still work his debts off. From what I have seen he mostly plays PS4 so this one console should be safe.

And holy shit, the 4 Points of possible fraud. IMHO DSP checked 3 out of 4 boxes. He did everything correct indeed for attempted fraud.

That's exactly how a debtor would liquidate it, and of course the digital "khantent" still on the system. I'm curious if they can get their hands on this Twitter/Twitch/Youtube accounts.

That said, Midfirst is going ahead with it and they wouldn't be bothering if they didn't see a chance of a payoff for going through all this. That or his shit-talking of them and taunting them about how they weren't getting any more money from him actually pissed them off. Or possibly, both. Nobody likes a pigroach.
Just like Machinima, they called his fucking bluff.

I'm sure he will spin this as something mutual in the end. :story:

I posted this in the wrong thread, but I see people already saying it here.

If DSP's stuff is sold at a public auction, he will get above market value for probably everything.

Everything will be bought by one of two types of people:
1) Actual paypigs who will buy things to "help" DSP. See also $60 to wear a vest for 10 minutes.
2) Detractors who want memorabilia.

I'm just interested to see if DSP would actually promote the auction constantly on stream or try to hide it and ban everyone out of embarrassment.

Further more she is a shit tier wife since her husband is half a million dollars in debt and she refuses to find a full time job to help, just so she can stay at home and play video games.

It is amazing to most people that don't follow DSP lore that his "financial situation" got worse after becoming a dual income no kids household.

There's been absolutely no indication that Kat gives a fuck about DSP's bankruptcy.

Nobody involved in this wants Phil to lose his consoles. They want him streaming to pay off his debt.

Two weeks ago, I would have agreed with this.

To me though, DSP has become so bitter and angry lately, that he's not even really HA HA funny anymore. I wouldn't mind if this was the end of his sad saga to be honest, but I can see why others would want it to keep going.

Another obvious sign that Phil, as he himself admitted, realized he needed to declare bankruptcy AT LEAST as early as July, is the first 1-2 minutes of this memology video;

Basically, on tape, for reason, admitting that he wants to default on all his loans on purpose so he can qualify for bankruptcy as a way to get more disposable income.

Genius Phil! Hope Nancy browses these threads.

Lol. This is a tard-take. It's not going to be Phil with a gavel in his hand snorting 'going once, going twice'; Phil won't get any 'market value' of his items up for sale.

A bankruptcy auction is the act of selling property that has been seized, and the money goes to the creditors.

I guess he could still take some piggy pride in seeing a pawnbroker raise his eyebrows as some wheelchair-bound slobber case has his hand raised by his wrangler to increase the bid on the PS4 past $100.

DSP has literally hid and banned everyone that's mentioned his bankruptcy in the past calling them detractor memes and saying that "my real true audience doesn't care about my personal life." Then said "I never said it wasn't true! Just that it's 'derailing' the fun pahsitive stream!"

That's why I could go either way with whether or not DSP would constantly announce his auction to get people to "contribute" or hide it and continue to call them "detractor memes."

I maintain that Phil's been planning this bankruptcy for years, he's spoke of it being an option since 2016 but he "didn't have to do it". More like he couldn't do it yet. It was probably in his sights when he was maxing his credit cards traveling around playing fighting games.

I don't think Phil Paul has the capacity for long term thinking. If he did he wouldn't be in this situation right now.

I mean, this is the guy who thinks past, present and future Phil are three separate entities.

phil can plan for the future as long as the plan is simple and doesn't hurt him now
he thinks the bankruptcy is just a simple "i can't pay it dood" and he gets a blank slate
he though he could let things keep going and then when things got bad he could just play his card and win the game

i love how he started this whole process as a "get out of bankruptcy free" card and all it did was completely ruin his life. of course for now he still thinks he's winning

I bet even the "that was fucking easy" Yacht Guy has figured out he's in trouble by now. The pigroach will need to be slammed with a load of bricks before he figures out he's getting fucked.

I don't hate Katherine or care about her at all. I only find talk of her annoying because she's non-existent. Phil mentions her every fucking day while she hasn't been a part of his stream whatsoever for 18 months.

I don't hate her. I just think she's a stupid whore. Proof: she's with Phil. Maybe it's not permanent though. It wasn't with Leanna.

If Phils stuff is going to get sold off he would probably be better off doing it on stream somehow where he can promote it and get the cash directly rather than through auction houses that take cuts without marketing anything correctly.

You fucking autists would find his auction goods without a doubt, some people would even bid... But there's no way a that a repossession auction would raise more than Phil signing a PS3 out of his closet and selling it on stream.

He won't do that though, it would mean facing his problems head on instead of pretending it's not happening and then blaming everyone except himself for it happening. He would also have to post things and there's no way he has time in his schedule for that. He would also probably use the money for sweaty pixel men instead of giving it to creditors like he should.

That's why it will have to be done for him or, more accurately, to him.

I don't think the trustee is very interested in selling Phil's consoles. Almost everyone has a gaming console nowadays so she must have seen in previous bankruptcies that they don't bring in much money. She was even asking about the Xbox360, a console that you can get for around $40 on eBay. The way I interpreted that line of questioning during the 341 hearing, as well as the questions that followed ("how do you determine which expenses are personal and which ones are business-related?"), were more about trying to establish the boundary between Phil Burnell the person and Burnell Productions the business.

And the difference between what Phil says and reality. They know what they need to know on that count, which is that they'll have to do their own independent digging to find out what's really going on and that any questions they bother asking him in person will be more to nail him for fraud than to get information.

When it comes to a public auction, would they list which goods relate to which case? For example, if there were 5 PS4 lots that day, would they know which one was Phil's? As far as I'm aware all XB and PS purchases are linked to the account, but if the repo men just turn up and take them, I assume someone could end up with access to all his info.

Sidetrack here but they couldn't give those fucking things away, two years ago Gamestop was giving customers a $60 gift card rebate with the purchase of a used 360 which was at the time selling for $60.
