I wonder if he still holds his class ring as something big anymore like he did during the beginning of the trolling since he knows how poorly he was seen by his "friends" back then. Does it hold as much sway to him anymore and does it work with his sonichu nonsense? Would Chris try to force people to like him by going to the reunion like he's trying with people on Twitter that blocked him?
During the idea guy saga the capitain used it to get chris to talk into what's going on by saying it was glowing.
More recently he tried to shoot fire with it by smacking it with another rockand broke it.

So I'm not really sure how a Manchester High 20 year reunion would be organized these days? I would assume most millennial HS reunions would be organized through social media.. meaning it would be dependent on him having some link to a former classmate on social media. Unless his school set up some sort of address network to find out how to mail formal invitations to such an event. So that means unless he gets an invitation through mail, he's unlikely to be aware it's occurring. So he's more likely than not to have no idea it's happening.. Given that he missed his last reunion https://sonichu.com/cwcki/Manchester_High_School#Reunion_plans

That said.. has anyone here attended a 20 year reunion? I would think by that time you just catch up with lost friends before social media was a thing... you show off your family or your fancy job... It's not an invitation to go back to the way things were in high school, but a chance to see where everyone you used to know ended up. I can see why chris would want to attend, unaware of how he'd be viewed, but i'd assume most people that still live at home wouldn't attend.

Weren't those messages confirmed to be fake?
The messages might be fake, but it directly lead to the truth. Chris asked Barb about his highschool friends, Barb told him that Bob made a deal with the principal to assign the galpals to look after Chris.

It's probably for the best that he doesn't know about anything anyway; we don't need to know how everyone else in his year did to know that he's the biggest failure out of any of them (except arguably anyone who's dead).

Just the opposite. How many of his classmates do you think have an internet following in the tens of thousands minimum, with whole forums dedicated to unpicking the miniutia of their existence? I'm certain that's the way Chris would think of it, and there will be others. There are people just stupid enough to think of that level of attention as Successful, no matter what the reason for it. (Just look at Phil, for example. If you must.)

Who has time for meeting old classmates when you're literally a god(dess) with the fate of two dimensions hanging on your every word? And ponyfag shit.

Additionally, he doesn't have to just worry about getting blocked by his class- he now has all of twitter to be blocked by. He's too big of a fish for little ponds!

This. Chris's ego wouldn't let this play out any other way.

social media has HS reunions redundant if you're under 40, HS reunions seem to be a bigger deal if you're from a small town where everyone knew each other, less of a big deal if you're in an area where nobody moves far away, and would anyone even remember young Chris who's turned into old Chris(tine)?

If there is one and he found out, he would probably go but have some ulterior motive to try and win his old friends back or some shit. Chris' class sounds like it was small so I doubt there's going to be one.

I went to my 10 year reunion only because it was in town and free food and to also see who else showed up. Out of a class of over 200 maybe 20 people showed. People aren't really into reunions anymore since social media made it easy to keep up with people.

Wasn’t there a reunion plan where Chris tried to rent a school bus so he can have the satisfaction of not riding the short bus for once?

The real question here: who the hell would go to an event knowing Chris might be there? Especially if anyone has been even remotely following his online presence. It would be a hard pass for me if I thought a fat trans exceptional grandma was going to be around trying to kiss people, likely throw a tantrum or two, shit herself and then post pictures of me and my friends all over his social media...

Maybe nobody has been keeping up with Chris but in this day and age, as long as one person has, the news will spread and there will definitely be questions raised of "what about Chris". I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people would be stepping down on Chris not being allowed if they are to attend at all.

These people spent four years ignoring and/or tolerating Chris. Even with an added twenty years, I can't imagine that their skills have degraded to the point where they can't manage to do the same for two to three hours.

Yeah but don't compare Chris today with the lovable fool he was back in HS - which is why I emphasized "especially if anyone has been even remotely following his online presence".

I think you're granting too much power to his online exploits. All of us here follow them, so we tend to build them up higher than they actually are, hence a Mighty Wings thread reaching over a dozen pages. With the exception of the Gal Pals, I doubt very many of his classmates would skip the event based on his attendance. Most won't attend because they can catch up with everyone on social media without having to make a special trip.

I think a combination of factors contribute to Chris seemingly not showing interest in a 20 year reunion. Certainly the biggest contributor is his discovery that the girls he believed were his friends were associating with him out of charity and pity, not actual friendship. Another major contributor, as has been pointed out, is his preoccupation with delusions of dimensional mergers, living cartoons, and being an anime video game loli goddess. I think real world concerns, such as Barb's encroaching demise, debt collectors, frequent court dates, etc. are also taking up much of the limited space in Chris' mind. And it could very well be that the prospect just hasn't occurred to Chris yet because no one has mentioned it to him and he hasn't seen anything about it on social media. And it could very well be that he wants it to happen, he just hasn't talked about it yet (unlikely since he can never shut up about his wants and desires).
