Thanks for that.

He's actually added 2 but his timeline doesn't show both for some reason.

One is a Disney Princess set for girls 6-12 and the other indeed appears to be Lego Ghostbusters.

He also appears to have done this at 4am.
Ok , two things:

1) The Tangled kit practically screams unconscious desire for a sweetheart to come and rescue him from his tower...so does that make Barb the witch from the original fairy tale?

2) I thought Chris hated Ghostbusters (the version that pop culture is familiar with). What happened to "...Little Care for "The Real Ghostbusters"; Jake, Eddie and Tracy WERE THE ORIGINAL REAL GHOSTBUSTERS." Chris and his loyalties, man, I just don't get him sometimes...

This is actually a decent point. Someone said earlier that Chris basically went down a list and added everything that looked even remotely appealing. Like, he saw that set, gave it a 4/10, then decided to add it anyways because someone else would be spending the money.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Chris probably likes the idea of owning a Ghostbusters, but not...because he likes the movie/cartoon(for want of a better phrase), but because he just wants more, and the kit is just one more thing to add to his ever growing wish list. Like the stuff with the Spongebob and Disney kits, he hasn't really given us any indication that he has actually watched/enjoyed them, has he? Even with the TMNT kits, we know he must've liked the franchise, since he received a TMNT video game for Christmas as a small child and was one of many games that he played it over and over again(according to OPL). That being said, he hasn't given us any indication that he still enjoys it, let alone even watches the new cartoon that these kits were based off of. Simpsons kits? I can see why he wants those, since "adult" cartoons like that and Family Guy seem to be some kind of drug for him. The Modular kits like the movie theater or emporium? Probably for rebuilding CWCville. But kits like the TMNT, Spongebob, Disney, etc. just seem like he wants to have them just to have it. Probably not dissimilar to Barb's hoarding, really. He probably thinks he can use them, then if, keyword if he actually gets them, he might end up realizing that he can't use them to build whatever he thought he might be building with x pieces because he can't use them the way he thought he did. Granted, there are MOCers who may tell themselves that they will never use some pieces, but end up finding uses for them in a future design with a little imagination. Though knowing our expectations of Chris, it's probably much easier to say that I would be giving him too much credit saying that.

That's exactly it. He doesn't even care what he gets, because more legos is more legos.

There's a hypocrisy page on the CWCki for a reason.

OPL further explains the list.

More proof Chris doesn't understand what mint means, let alone mint on card. He's saying he wants two Spongebob party sets so he can make a whole house, but that would mean he's taken the pieces out of the box for construction. Also Lego doesn't come on cards anyway. It stops being mint when the box is opened.

Chris's greed has reached unprecedented levels and really, only so much of that can be attributed to the fact some kind souls actually sent him gifts and money after the fire. He saw he could get free things out of people and he is milking that for all its worth. This isn't new behaviour. Chris has always been greedy, always been unsatisfied with what he has, has always pushed for more. He is spoiled and entitled. He doesn't understand that what little goodwill was directed towards him in the immediate aftermath of the fire is being destroyed by his constant demands for more. He doesn't understand that you can't overcharge for items on eBay because you and your mother NEED the money while simultaneously buying dozens of lego sets and asking for gifts and donations of dozens more.

When Chris has something, he will never be satisfied with it if he senses he can get more. It wasn't enough for him to be in the finals of the PaRappa the Rapper contest, he had to win it. It wasn't enough that his dream of making a Sonichu video game was about to be realised, he had to have Nintendo fork over money for his travel and travel expenses.

Tl;dr: This is vintage CWC.
