I really wanted Ivory Coast to go through. They always have a good team, but were in tough groups in '06 and '10.

US needs the Tim Howard of the majority of game one and less of the Tim Howard of the beginning and end of game two to show up today really badly. Klinsmann built the team to attack but they're going to have to play to win on the counterattack today and hope that Portugal wins but not going away. Mike Bradley finally checking in for the tournament instead of just being a warm body would help immensely with Altidor still gimpy too, but I'm not expecting much from him based off the effort he's turned in to this point.
