Yeah Dave will be doing what he does til he dies. This is all but confirmed. He can lose his house, car, girlfriend, everything and still be streaming in his parents basement at 50 reading off cheers and snorting away. Dave is Mr. 10 Year Legacy. It's never in danger of being over as Phil will never let it go to begin with. No matter how much he takes, he will take his lifestyle to the fucking grave. How have they not correlated that Phil's whales always come out in force when something bad is imposed upon him? Especially when theres undoubtedly detractor involvement. Exactly. Dave's own regular viewers in streamchat tonight were not happy with his performance. They were tuning out early and calling him on shit like when he said he 'Couldn't give an opinion because it wasn't the full game, it was just a beta(even though earlier he said it was in Alpha and it's available for purchase in Early Release form on Steam which means. . .it's in Alpha.),' and they pointed out multiple games he had shit all over that were not the release version.

Edit: Now that I think about it I don't recall him ever actually mentioning that the game is available for purchase in Early Access state on Steam for $19.99. The way he kept defending the game to his streamchat made it sound like he had been given access to a closed beta build of the game that wouldn't even be possible to purchase for months. I think the reason some of his chat knew at all was because either they Googled it themselves or they were in Tevin's streamchat as well and Tevin looked up the information on the game.

I feel like this thread is a great microcosm of the kind of meta autism that DSP creates. People are now getting mad at people getting mad at DSP. I myself have fallen victim to this at times. All because Dave can't admit he's bad at video games, has a shitty attitude, and is a shameless beggar.

And from that springs forth the vortex of stupidity that seems to infect everyone that he comes in contact with, and causes people ( who otherwise might be a bit weird, but overall fine) to to have massive crap attacks either defending or attacking him. I find it all very ironically funny that the only thing Dave is any good at is making people react, not to him, but about him.

And in a nutshell that's probably going to be Phil's actual legacy. "How much of a fucktard was he?" will be debated until he finally disappears off the internet in favor of his parents basement.

#Sponsored Stream certainly was a 'big difference from the norm':
- No snorting.
- No 'Come on! How was that fair?' when loosing to AI.
- Refraining from voicing negative opinions about a game because it's still in development
- PG-13 language
- Not mentioning trolls nor detractors a single time.
-An absence of begging and harping on how much he 'needs that money' due to the Reeemergency of the week.
- The patented 'hah, hah,hah' forced and hollow filler laugh only.

Dave didn't say anything negative about the game at all. When asked his opinion, he said it was an incomplete version and therefore would not give any personal thoughts on the game. When he lost, the AI was 'really smart!' and repeatedly remarked that he was 'bad at this type of game'. What was most likely a glitch ( as agreed upon by members of his stream chat , was said by Dave to have been programming to simulate a player celebrating a victory dance. I will also point out that during the entire sponsored stream, Dave did not snort once and PG-13 censored himself by saying "f 'ing" instead of dropping his usual F-bombs. #Sponsored Stream was LightSydPhil at his most advertiser friendly-est.

Gosh, if only there was a horizontal slice of a game he played recently that fit this exact state that he completely and utterly took a dump on.

At the risk of veering even further into off topic territory, I think if people want to fuck with Phil on their own time, go nuts. But, don't come here looking for praise after you do it. A lot of people get salty about it because it tends to amount to people in the main thread jumping in to "brag" about spending a dollar to send Phil some unfunny message he's seen thousands of times before and doesn't even react to. Or people crusading to start some twitter campaign believing it will get Phil banned. We even have an old thread from one former user who sent/tried to send Phil a giant cardboard dick or something to that effect. If you really do something good that gets under Phil's skin and is legitimately funny, someone else will report on it. There's a big difference between someone sharing something funny they saw happen in Phil's chat or Twitter whatever versus posting your own screenshot of you saying something you think is funny in his chat.

The real question is, does Phil playing this basement quality game mean that was hoping nobody would be able to fuck it up for him OR does it mean hes not getting better offers.

It was also fun how he was trying to explain it was special closed beta code (the game is purchaseable in EA) and how the game would change (true) but he wouldn't be able to to play the full release dood it's just a beta code (that's literally not how EA works).

This one thing right here is about the only redeeming kwahlity from his sponsored shtreems. Even though I know it's just totally fake to avoid coming off like a complete and total shit sipper (which is who he normally is), it's something that real/regular streamers and such would do. "Hey, this game is totally still being developed, so I can't get too butt-frustrated when something borks up." But with Phil, he uses it as a cop-out so even if he DOES slip up and say something about a game mechanic being bogus or bugged, he can slip right back into the "it's still being developed" excuse to cover up his negative attitude.

My (personal) biggest problem is that this sub has turned into a sort of museum for detractors to show their work and getting circled jerked for it, and apparently this has reached the point where people are actually applauding A-Logs for taking down content. A-Logs are by definition trollshielding autists, hence the number of threads dedocated to them.

Phil is not some saint who can't be criticized, hell, there's a 3,000 page thread made for just that, which I have participated in, but there's a huge difference between criticizing or cracking fun at him and just being a hateful autist towards him.

There's a distinction between him fucking up (YT flagging him as spam was fucking hilarious) and people actively trying to fuck with him, and one is far funnier than the other.

Trying to get Phil kicked out is part of the entertainment in the sense that his reactions are always great. You have to understand, no matter how hard people try to get him deplatformed, he will never stop being a lolcow. If anything, the worse it gets for him, the bigger the cow he becomes. Don't let Phil convince you that he's actually fucked, because he's not. He's making 10k a month, he could easily lower his expenses if his back was actually against the wall, and his parents are rich as fuck and have shown that they're willing to bail him out.
