@Mr.PiggyOinkOinkOink's pointed out a recent clip taken by Mrhuthstuff:
"Without giving too many perfect - uh - too many specific details, in about a month's time, I may be appearing on a podcast. It's been a hell of a long time since I appeared on any show of anyone.
And, I got an offer, and I've been talking back-and-forth with a couple people, and - uh- I may be on a podcast next month.
And if it does work out, it may be good timing because if the podcast goes well it could end up being free publicity, which number one: obviously helps, and number two: as you remember like I said next month I'm probably gonna be doing some kind of a marathon in late March to raise funds for my taxes, so maybe it'll give me some exposure to a new audience who'll come by.
Uh - I'll let you guys know the details when I have them worked put. I do not have them worked out as of yet, yet. Um - I'll give you guys maybe a couple week - uh - notice, so that we can hype it up. Ya know, first time I've been on - on - a show or anything in a long ass time. So... OK...
No worries. People are saying "what about trolls?" Don't worry 'bout it. Don't have to worry about any of that. That's all behind the scenes stuff [unitelligible] be handled. Don't have to worry about that shit. Huh huh..."
Back in early January, "Drunken Peasants" reached out to Phil on Twitter, as noted here by @Wurstbrot
Phil's flaked on appearances before, most famously Jordie Jordan's podcast on Januray 2015:
18-Feb-2019: Responding to a Cheer question, Phil laid out the planned scope of his appearance, and his appeal as a guest.
(Thanks to @Mr.PiggyOinkOinkOink and @LightCoreLif for pointing this out)
19-Feb-2019:
21-Feb-2019: @thebonesauce pointed out that "Woolie" from "Two Best Friends Play" has a twitch show "where he casually hangs out with random guests and talks fighting games". "Pretty sure they had some nice words for DSP not long ago, and now DSP has mentioned he’s gonna do a podcast next month because of his knowledge of ST..." Here's the intro to Woolie's show, "Getting Into Fighting Games", that thebonesauce linked.
23-Feb-2019: @Comma's vigilance has reaped what appears to be a confirmation that Phil will be on the Drunken Peasant's podcast. "Johnpage", who can be seen here introducing the Drunken Peasants to Phil's infamous Half-Life fail (thanks to @Awful Meerkat for the link) appeared in Phil's chat, eventually telling Phil, "im excited to see ya on the podcast phil, should be fun."

FYI
Don't expect anything. If they don't pay him, Phil will say no. And he will say no regardless because he is a pussy and can't comprehend exposure. Especially not from the sphere of Drunken Peasants who are basically detractors. Also Phil would have to leave the house and get in contact with strangers, it sounds like.
I suggest open a new thread when something actually happens or get announced.![]()
Phil's flaked on appearances before, most famously Jordie Jordan's podcast on Januray 2015:
The Drunken Peasants invitation reminded me of the time DSP was scheduled to go on Jordie Jordan's podcast back on January 15 2015 and Philip didn't have to spine to say he wouldn't do it instead offering up a child's excuse of "I'm sick" on the 12th despite the fact he put out "gameplay" footage with his god awful commentary on the 13th 15th and some KOgaming video on the 14th. The clips discussing DSP from the show appear to have been from the livestream and I can't check if they are available right now due to the current status of Wings' Twitch channel.
Philip must not think much of Wing's to have blown him off twice like that.
Also relevant:
It's very apparent Philip will not risk entering an environment he is not fully in control over. Were he ever to appear on someone else's content it'd be a complete hugbox.

19-Feb-2019:
On stream someone warned DSP about the Reddit post and said Drunken Peasants. DSP mocked the conspiracy theory that they're out to get him and didn't deny it was DP.
So congratulations.
He also said "We're in talks," so it's not a done deal. I expect him to flake.

I just noticed a partnered Twitch user called "johnpage" showing up in DSP's chat.

Turns out it's the guy who's showing the DSP gameplay in the clip above. Dood seems pretty trollish, tbh.

I just noticed he's been in DSP's chat quite a few times before, but under two different names.

So he's been in his chat off and on since February 2017. Scanning through his messages, he comes off as either helpful/sincere or a bit trollish/trying to bait DSP. Kinda hard to get a bead on him.
-late edit- He just showed up again and confirmed DSP will be on the Drunken Peasants podcast.
