Ex-Soviet state in this context presumably means one of the numerous satellite nations Russia absorbed into the Soviet Union (Ukraine, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, etc). They tend to be a lot less nostalgic for the commie era than Russia proper, probably because most of them didn't want to join in the first place and got fucked over hardest during the famines, etc.

Sigh. Russian boomers at it again. When I visited Russia I found out that a lot of shitpost forums are blocked and I have to use a VPN. Not sure if KF was among them, but at this point, what difference does it make?

Whatever's benn happening with the internet for the past few years has been extremely disturbing. More and more sites are getting blocked just because some higher-up boomer hypocrite saw whatever the fuck they considered "indecent" and just completely blocked the whole thing while patting himself on the back. These out-of-touch power hungry morons pretend that they do it all for protecting the kiddies, stopping terrorism or preventing "moral decay of tragitional Russian values" while all they really do is create a compliant, dumb, scared, xenophobic society. Block your own anus instead, roskomnadzor.

At least 4chan mods do something worthless for free. Presumably these cunts are being paid, although their only pay should be in small lead coins delivered at high velocity.

I highly doubt censors themselves are offended by Santa Hitler, it's much more possible they are already desensitized (if anyone ever was sensitive about that kind of shitpost), and just mechanically check if the image appeared in official extremist materials list.
