Nah.To the people wondering, Adam Sandler is going through the same thing Eddie Murphy went through..
Eddie Murphy isn't mocked as much as Sandler though. And plus Murphy had more goodies than Sandler.

To be honest, I've never seen How Green Was My Valley while Citizen Kane is a movie I appreciate from a technical innovation standpoint but it's nowhere close to being my favourite classic movie.
I've only seen Dances with Wolves once and had trouble staying awake.
Honestly, Joker getting so many nominations may be another good sign that SJW culture is on it's way out.
There was so much outrage over the movie and yet it didn't hold it down neither critically or financially.

How Green Was My Valley is a family movie with some fantastic performances and cinematography, IMO. Citizen Kane is a great film, and I completely understand why it's so revered ... But is it among my favorites? No.
I think How Green Was My Valley winning Best Picture over Citizen Kane is considered as a "big snub" because of two reasons:
1. Well ... It's Citizen Kane. Fair enough, right?
2. The director of How Green Was My Valley, John Ford, is now maligned and hated in Hollywood. All because he was an extra on the original Birth of a Nation. lol. A lot of directors (Quentin Tarantino, most recently) have virtue signaled and have said things like "I refuse to praise a John Ford movie because he's raaaaacist."

RULES FOR ME....The irony of Quentin "my nigga" Tarantino saying that lol

That's like saying you'll never watch a movie from United Artists because one of the 4 founders was DW Griffith, the guy who directed Birth of a Nation.
Like who gives a fuck.
Doesn't Tarantino know that "logic" can used on him considering he has made films for Miramax and the Weinstein Company (the former being founded by the Weinstein brothers)? For all we know, he could have been aware of Harvey for years and looked the other way.2. The director of How Green Was My Valley, John Ford, is now maligned and hated in Hollywood. Little Women has picked up 6 nominations. Greta Gerwig is a good director, but Emma Watson is box office poison. She's the main reason the marketing never took off. A top notch cast giving fun Q and A's and Emma Watson with 1 to 1 interviews about why she's happy being single.
Anyway I wouldn't be surprised if Little Women isn't the compromise candidate, it's a good film with a female case that will allow the academy 1 year of not getting shit on for lack of diversity.

The movie was also shit compared to the 1994 movie. The story was told out of order, making emotional scenes feel hilariously empty. The only one in the cast who was exceptional was Florence Pugh, and I honestly think her nomination is more of a nod to Midsommar than anything else since the Academy has a bias against the horror genre.

Saoirse Ronan is probably technically (in terms of actual ability) the greatest actress of her generation, she has a half dozen objectively great films in her resume. Watson's career is a bit different. She does the same Po faced routine in every movie she's in. She also has a history of fucking up the promotion of a movie as well, feeling that anytime a camera is pointing at her, she has to give her thoughts on politics.Watson had most of her scenes cut or re-edited after test screenings last year. Her performance was said to be pretty bad and appears to have been salvaged in the editing room. She was a last minute replacement for Emma Stone.
It’s funny to see how completely sidelined Watson was from the rest of the cast; it’s like she completely ghosted/was ghosted by the project.
I've heard from a leftist apologist that the left only sperged out about Joker because the alt-right embraced it as a symbol of hate. He also said the movie was cynically marketed to brain dead anti-SJWs who gobbled it up
Hoes mad.

She's like a completely talent less Bree Larson.
