US 2022 Midterm - Election Spergery for all things local, Senate, House, governors, and everything in-between.

Lots of discussions for the 2022 midterm going around. In a year and a month and a half, we all get to decide who will fuck us in the ass less. The Donkeys (Democrats) or the Elephants (Republicans).

I'm going to put up a more informative post later, but all I will say now is that I think there's a 50/50 chance of either party getting the House. I expect Democrats to keep the Senate, for now that is. No idea what opportunities there are for Republicans to win governor races where Democrats currently hold position of power.

I guess it make since to talk all things about Biden here since it will have impact on midterms

College Whites, College Nonwhites...Even College White Women will swing (but not trend) R.
I am assuming "college" here means still in college or freshly graduated as opposed to "got a degree 15 years ago."

Lots of people will look at this with rainbows and in some way it is, but as a current university student I have been genuinely surprised at what I have witnessed. My uni is considered liberal arts and I am in an arts department. The students seem to be 50/50 or 60/40 non-woke to woke. There are a few outliers that are "live and let live" (regarding gender stuff) but even these types seem to have a line drawn. The majority of the "woke" are women and xirs (of which there are only a few, all very obviously biological women). One of my contemporaries actually wore a "Let's Go Brandon" shirt to campus - I didn't know he felt that way but sensed it. Had a small gathering over the weekend where I found out every single one of us are unjabbed and right-leaning. That said, this is in a red state, but we have our pockets of blue and students come from all over and out-of-state. November 2020 there was very little push to "GO VOTE FOR BIDEN!!!" like you would expect, and when I first arrived I only found a handful of very faded, torn Bernie stickers from God knows when littered around on poles.

Point is despite woke being pushed upon us by millennial professors it doesn't seem to be making any real headway. If this is what I found in an arts department then I am assuming most all are the same way or "better." I wouldn't be surprised if this prediction does come true, at least in a lot of states.

Ohio: Renacci against DeWine for Governor. For Senate, while Vance is acceptable in the general I'm mildly concerned he could pull a Romney. Mandel is saying a lot of great things that every other Republican politician ought to be saying but I'm not too sure about his past either. Therefore I'd go with Mike Gibbons, who worked pretty hard in his primary against Renacci in 2018
Your lips to God's ears. I'm surprised DeWine is running again since I'd heard the plan was him to have one term and prep the ground for our Lt. Gov. to take the seat. DeWine let Husted be the heavy for COVID restrictions on High School sports and that's likely hurt Husted's chances. I'd prefer Renacci, but DeWine is deep in the state GOP. Keeps him from going hard on new COVID shit though. Still better than John "Son of a Mailman" Katshit, but not by much.

I don't like either Vance or Mandel. I'm not convinced Vance isn't grifting and bullshitting. Mandel, on the other hand, has an Early Life section, but was a marine. Last time around he was up for Sherrod "Wifebeater" Brown's senate seat, but dipped out right at the end because his wife was sick. And took the warchest with him. Renacci came in, but he had no money to run a campaign, and still almost beat Brown. I can't really forgive Mandel for that, even if it was understandable. He's also the state GOP choice, so you can assume he's sufficiently corrupt and will bend over to the RINOs there.

The question is never whether or not an Ohio politician is criminally corrupt, the question is if they're competent in spite of that. Or entertaining, see James Traficant.

Mississippi approved its new Congressional/House map today bringing the current state of affairs to this:

The new Mississippi map is essentially just a preservation of the status quo. Three majority white, Republican districts and one majority black, Democrat district. Same as in previous years.

That's a good question. I think of "college votes" as voters who have a college degree + young college students working on their undergrad degree. Now...there are obviously multiple distinctions to be made, but a binary college vs noncollege split is simple. College whites have become increasingly pro-Democrat over the years, but I do suspect that trend could abate especially once more millennials spend more years out of the environments that peer pressure them into libtardism.

I've seen multiple progressives tout the fact that the millennial generation seems uniquely resistant to the "become more conservative as you grow older" phenomenon, and while there's some truth in that, it's nevertheless the case based on exit poll data that the 18-29 crowd that voted for Obama massively in 2008 was *not* as strongly Democrat for Pedojoe in 2020 (when they were 30-41). It can be said that millennials are becoming conservative at a SLOWER rate because they are starting families at a slower rate, but it's still happening. And the young zoomers (18-24; born 1996 to 2002) who voted in 2020 were not as pro Pedojoe as the young millennials (18-24; born 1984 to 1990) were for Obama.

The thing that gives me pause is how the most extensive voter fraud organization in history Biden Administration doesn't seem to give a fuck about anything, especially not the supply chain issues and the inflation and shrinkflation issues. Voters consistently say the economy and these supply chain and product availability, cost, quantity and quality issues are number 1 and the administration doesn't care about it and focuses its attention on less important and partisan leftists issues but, hey, inflation is good, and you're a stupid son of a bitch if you think otherwise, Joe Biden's words, not mine.
They must think its all still totally in the bag. If the elections had anything even approaching the typical levels of dirty tricks and cheating that both parties engage in, the administration would be seriously worried about getting obliterated in the midterms and losing the presidency, perhaps not even getting the nomination next time if the 2022 elections truly are as disastrous for democrats as they appear to be.

Unless a candidate has a sugar daddy backing them or strong charisma or a rich fuck with "fuck you" money or backing of the community, they will lose.
This is the primary reason why we Americans have a political system we deserve. People who meet these criteria and haven't sold their soul to our political dynasties (like Trump) are fucking unicorns.

Fucking low IQ voters will only elect someone who've they've seen on TV. Up until recently, the establishment hasn't been forced to directly stuff the ballot box - they only need to buy airtime and the retards do the groundwork for them.
