I'm not. Josh's standard response to journos asking him for a statement is telling them to fuck off, but this time he linked to Destiny's manifesto and was unusually subdued. It's a combination of laziness, privilege, and money. They come from money and have never seen the seedy side of what they espouse, they genuinely believe that what's correct is determined by majority opinion, and they get paid a fuckton by their parents' chronies to uphold the status quo.

They also have a pathological need for attention. In the old days, investigative journalists used to spend months and years quietly wiggling their way into the centre of whatever it is was they were investigating. This required discretion, tact, negotiation, laser focus and the ability to make friends while keeping your head way down. These days, the mark of a true journalist is how loud they scream, "LOOK AT ME! PAY ATTENTION TO ME! LISTEN TO WHAT I SAY AND DO WHAT I TELL YOU!"

Journalists are somewhat less popular than venereal disease.

And the opinions on these scum are plummeting from already low levels:
