2023 Security Check-up Reminder

Yep. Password managers are just another potential attack vector. I wouldn't touch one with a 50 foot pole, nor would I use the same password on every website.

2FA is a pain in the ass, but minor discomfort is nothing compared to the alternative.

A complete distrust of random people and random downloads from the Internet, along with compartmentalising online IDs to the best of one's ability, is the way to go.

A good quality paid antivirus program and a reputable ad blocker also go a long way to keeping safe online.
They are a major attack vector if they are on a massive public server. If you sling a KeePass database around locally someone would have to try and target access to your actual devices to get it, by which point they might as well steal everything else.

EDIT: typo

that's the one that plugs everyone into the Microsoft niggerword scanner correcr
Yes, and it also doesn't allow you to write anything offensive anywhere. You cannot name your singleplayer world "Niggerland" and you cannot place a sign that says "fuck niggers" or even make a book that has any of the bad words.

Committing a felony to own the noobs. I'm not sure if I'm impressed or disgusted.
First time on the internet?
