Back in the good ol' days, children were taught digital security alongside computer literacy. Never give out personal info, don't download things from an untrusted source etc. I remember having to complete a short course in IT class. Now children are just given smartphones and left to it. Everyone has a a tree of social media accounts that can all be linked together, that contain all the personal info someone could want. They join discord servers with strangers and start telling them intimate details of their life with no caution. Privacy is a strange concept to the new generation.

When using a password manager you can have various "vaults" or whatever yours calls groups of passwords - if you are relatively paranoid you can put all your "important" ones like email, bank, etc into a separate vault that oyu have to unlock each time you use it.

This way a "memory hack" that can read your RAM can't grab the passwords live.

Note that storing your passwords in the browser itself can result in the type of hack here.

Who in their right mind has their password saved on their browser? I always disable or ignore that feature. Now I'm not the most computer savvy, but does the browser save the passwords even when you tell it not to? I just use a physical note pad to keep track of passwords and encode them with my own retarded puzzles, phrases and jokes that only make sense to me.

Thank you dear feeder for the welcoming registration message that many people ignore (it makes it funnier when people willingly don't read it and get soft doxed) and the helpful links.

Anything that can execute code, and a lot of things that can't, because they attached things that execute code to things that can't. .txt files are relatively safe. Trust nothing. Not even your own monitor.

Or if you are technically retarded like me just don't download anything from another person unless you know them from a place that isn't rife with drama, alloging and gay ops preferably irl and don't keep pictures of yourself that you don't want them on the internet. So anything they get is gay shit like pictures of houses , cats,bbabies and memes. And stay away from any chat that isn't public . Oh and keep two separate emails sheesh
