2024 Coup d'état in Bolivia

I met more Peruvians than Bolivians in Argentina in my experience.
That's because Peruvians mostly work, Bolivians are mostly criminals, you're not going to meet many unless you are buying blow or trying to hedge a power position among one of the many (soon to be dismantled) poverty-as-power political rackets.

As for the coup in that shithole, it's pseudo-socialist filth getting deposed so good riddance, too bad whatever follows is going to be equally retarded.

General Juan José Zuñiga, who led the attempted coup in Bolivia, stated that it was all a setup by President Luis Arce, a 'passive ally' of Evo Morales, to gain more popularity.

"The president asked me to do something to raise his popularity [...] and he told me to bring out the armored vehicles!"
It was all a ruse, bros. Zuniga dindu nuffin!

Now that this is the second time that rogue military officials have tried overthrowing the MAS government, is leadership finally gonna learn it's lesson and start purging the military? I saw that they appointed a new leader for the military who got the troops to stand down but unless you actually clean ranks they're just gonna kill that guy and try killing you again.

The great satan demands its lithium.
