2025-07-25 - OFCOM: "Ofcom engagement - Availability of KiwiFarms in UK"

The fact that the UK passed the Online safety Act with a bunch of western governments all over the world the United States Included, starts to pass similar legislation makes me think that there is a coordinated effort by an entity (the WEF?) to censor the internet in its entirety.
Speaking as someone unfortunate enough to be stuck in the UK, the OSA is complete bullshit. The government claims they're doing this to protect the children, but in reality, it's a massive overreach, with its ostensible reason for being as nothing more than a cover for the government to censor anything and everything they don't like - which is pretty much anything that doesn't completely glaze them! Keep fighting the good fight; it seems that Labour is perfectly content jamming their fingers in their ears and claiming everything is fine in spite of the vast amount of criticism this stupid act is receiving.
I am sorry for you man. Look up how to use Tails OS and TOR if you haven't already, as the UK is thinking about censoring that as well. Hope you find a way out of that hellhole. Godspeed.

You know they're overreaching faggots lying about everything.
They know you know they're overreacing faggots lying about everything.
You know they know you know they're overreaching faggots lying about everything.
But they're still overreaching faggots lying about everything.
And let's not forget that the technology secretary himself thinks that anyone who opposes this law is on the same side as child predators. Really great optics there! The only reason why language like this sticks is because of how pathetically complacent the majority of the population here are. Sure, we'll complain, we might protest or riot, and we may sign petitions, but everyone seems to have this stupid mindset where after a few weeks or so, "it doesn't matter anymore" and the majority roll over and accept their rights being eroded away to nothingness.

Of course it's coordinated. Trump got in despite their entire appratus going against him. Three times. The fact that we're allowed to speak and read information freely is a luxury we can no longer be afforded as it puts their goals in danger.

I don't think kf should ever blocked uk ips, tho I understand the sentiment of wanting to protect the users there.

UK: Fuck off, figure out how to do this yourselves because it's your problem and you can't force a website in any other country to do anything. What are you going to do, fine us? Take us to court in the US?

It's not even that hard to figure out, you're just a bunch of useless faggots

Not just Trump, as the same thing happened back in the 2000 and 2004 elections.

Hmm who could be behind this?

Something to remember about this law, it was the Tories who pushed through, and didn't get implemented until now under the new Labour gov. This is not just one party being authoritarian.

I really think the riots last summer spooked Labour and are using this law as a way to control online sites to combat that, rather than to protect children as they say.

If they wanted to protect children they could target social media platforms to ban children from using those sites, or ban any posts that target children. Youtube kids would be something they could very justifiability ban due to the effect it is having on children attention spans.

Hell if they just kept it for pornsites, I doubt it would have been nearly as controversial, but they aren't, they are even going after wikipedia of all sites.

A UK government employee is being paid to sit around for 8 hours a day hammering F5 on every website they don't like to check for breaches. They are making China look like a bastion of free speech and freedom of expression lol
Someone on reddit said that Europe finally found a common language with China and North Korea.

To tell you how retarded the block is, when my mate was asked to take a selfie to "prove" his ID, he held his phone up to the news about Hulk fucking Hogans death and it verified him, brother.

Also, just to reiterate to the smug yanks saying "hurr you chose this": what can we, the brits who hate all of this, do, at this point. anyone born after 1985 has had ZERO say in the direction of this country, because everything started to really go to shit when YOU got attacked by your own governent the jews muslims. Tony Blair joined your faggy war, and it was wildly unpopular, but Labour stayed in power until 2006 because we just had an election. The tories got in power (kinda) and stayed there until last fucking year, but all the state surveillance shit was already in place at that time. Our "right wing" government then continued the enshitification of this god forsaken island in the past 18 years, so the fact we have a "left wing" party in at the moment doesn't really make a difference, they're just adding to the stink.

Just like you guys, we have a two party system, red or blue, our colours are just backwards. The difference is, both of our parties are so close to the middle that you're just voting for the tie they wear. Anyone that has a hint of changing something (and no, Nigel Farage is a cock gobbling snake who will not make this country better) gets blackballed by the media and gain no traction. The vast majority of retards that live here are conditioned to "just go along with it". We have no guns, no self defence weapons, no effective policing (unless you try and help yourself, god help you) that focuses on petty bullshit that only the jews people in power care about, nothing.

And to top if all off, you guys wont let us in.

Look at the people who work in Ofcom. Shouldn't doxxing and cyberbullying nerds like these to death be less stigmatized and more encouraged just for the sake of protection of freedom of speech from institutional violation by these losers?

Br*t*sh might try to spread the blocking to other EU countries/commonwealth possibly.

EU hates Britian post Brexit and is incredibly reluctant to take notes from us, a lot of our online 'ban' stuff prior to Brexit was built on the EU template anyway so I would say EU will do it as a natural extension, rather than to copy us or via our influence.
As for Commonwealth countries? Maybe? Like I can see the possibility of them either being all in for it or not at all since it's the most easily got around 'Law' ever.
