2025-07-25 - OFCOM: "Ofcom engagement - Availability of KiwiFarms in UK"

God damn. I know it's probably just a simple check for connection or some shit, but I like the idea that they are wasting money just having people refresh the site every couple minutes because they fear the slobber mutt.
Well they have to give Rakesh the Diversity Hire something to do in office hours that he can't fuck up.

No nation that covered up Jimmy Savile as long as they could should ever try to take the moral high ground on fucking anything.
ahem...

fuck the UK.

They are correct. When I did the upgrade I disabled a bunch of stuff to focus on getting the site as fast as possible before adding back more complexity. They noticed IMMEDIATELY.

At the same time their children are getting raped and killed by foreign niggers...

These people arent ignorant, they are evil.

"from exposure to illegal content and material that may be harmful to children" why arent those motherfuckers banning discord and roblox then. this site is already labeled +18.

If there are any kids here, thats their parent's fault.

Oh wait, seems like parents are literally given no responsibility and its all up to daddy government to "protek deh kidus (espeically dos of sexi behend like Jimmy Savile leked)

@Null any clues on what your response will be? i'm eager to know but don't wanna spend all night refreshing like a sped.
Too bad KF can't crowdfund.
An American Flag.
A Copy of The Constitution.
A Print of a historic Revolutionary War or Tea Party painting.
Delivered by someone dressed as a kiwi to their office.

Btw you fellas might want to check this out as it pertains to US based Internet regulation, that if passed will likely affect things in a far more tangible way than what Britbongistan is playing at https://kiwifarms.net/threads/kids-online-safety-act.225042/
Do we really have to bend the knee to these fucking faggot lovers overseas? We're Americans dammit
It's not about bending the knee to the malicious retardation of the all hated British Government. Come hell or high water if you want to have a website that can connect to the UK, you now have play ball with frankly unattainable conditions which are being enforced maliciously and with a certain bias towards smaller sites. Failure to comply risks getting fined (though I'm still trying to wrap my head around the UK government fining an American website) or blocked completely regardless of if your site hosts anything even remotely objectionable.

Larger sites and social medias that are international risk large fines for not complying but they will have the resources to manage it. Most alt media does not or are ideologically against this for good reason.

We can all laugh at the "need to share your passport to have a wank" memes, but I've been saying this for a while, having your Internet activity tied to a real ID system is the end goal of all of this shit, and what comes to pass in Britain may very well come to pass in the US if people meet future proposals with a "can't happen here" attitude.

Obviously the UK is a despotic hellhole, but it's also the inevitable consequence of government in a technological society. In a technological society, rule necessarily must be carried out by experts, who will necessarily have to make decisions more or less as a cattle rancher would. One of those considerations is propaganda. Obviously, then, free speech is anathema to the project. The UK is just a preview of what's coming anywhere technological society exists, and there are far worse horrors to come. Canada, for example, seems hell-bent on going full Solyent Green. Even that only scratches the surface of how far this will go.

I'm sure it's been posted, but this discussion between Rumble and Ofcom is apparently newly released.

Yeah that's because UK regulatory bodies aren't like US ones, they have actual power, UK ones simply do not.
To bring up the example of the water companies; they are after years long "investigations" routinely fined a few million £ for polluting rivers with raw sewage (https://www.thetimes.com/article/a1b0aab4-78ec-4a64-87d6-b8ae47786bfe/https://archive.is/lzeZ9), this is nothing to them, and it's cheaper just to pay the minuscule fines (shitting up the rivers saves them billions). This became such a bad joke OFWAT is being abolished due to public outrage at water companies openly pumping literal shit into the rivers and getting away with it (https://www.thetimes.com/article/3c0ead6d-81a9-49bd-b667-342176a51be7/https://archive.ph/k6gE4).

Bear in mind; they were only being "fined" in the first place because they chose to negotiate with the regulator and hashed out an agreement, probably because "private company tells gov to fuck off" is a great way to get yourself legislated against, which is effectively what ended up happening anyway.
Let me reiterate; our regulators are a fucking joke :spudking:
