My guess is that one of his "girlfriends" exclusively wants to be tribbed, and the other one exclusively wants the duck, so Chris is going to be the "bisexual" who can bang women in either the male or female role.
And because he is dumb, he won't think to ask what these "girlfriends" did with each other before he came along.

The issue with that theory is that was already how he thought himself once he came out as transgendered. He made all kinds of comments along those lines. About how he was a great partner for a woman, since he was a woman but still had the duck. So if it was really about having sex with two different women in two different ways I don't think it merits a big pronouncement.

He has also made various comments over the years indicating that he understood what the word "bisexual" means. For him to misuse as badly as that in a public pronouncement without a rambling explanation about how this doesn't mean he is attracted to men would be unusual.

Here are my completely speculative theories:

1) He was blackmailed/tricked/trolled/bribed into making the announcement, and it means virtually nothing.

2) His new "sweethearts" include a male and a female. They have persuaded him, most likely because they are trolling him, that he needs to be with the dude also if he wants the China. Maybe not actual one on one sex with the guy, but in a threesome or something like that. He has to profess his bisexuality to get the china, although I doubt the china is forthcoming.

3) This is pretty close to your theory, but I think a little more likely. His new "sweethearts" include one or more women who is biologically female but presents as a man, at least occasionally. (Again, I doubt this would be real. More likely trolls pushing Chris' boundaries.) Chris has been persuaded to acknowledge her as a man in some of their interactions, making him bisexual. So it's not that he is taking both a male and female role, it's that his partners are in some way. Which is a key part of bisexuality that I don't think even Chris could fuck up.

4) He has been persuaded in some way that true and honest open-minded members of the LGBTQ community should be open to relationships with all types of people. He has some twisted explanation in his head about how he is now a bisexual who is only interested in women.

5) He has actually discovered an attraction to men and has decided to declare it. He plans on pursuing relationships with men as much as he has done with women. I think this is the least likely explanation, but I suppose it has non-zero probability.

He makes no apparent indication that he's being forced to make it. Now he's made several public statements about his bisexuality. His sexual identity has always been a very sensitive topic for him, one he really doesn't like to lie about, because it mucks with his Sweetheart Search. So I'm inclined to think he's being honest. Chris has always been blase about sexual practices--as Carlos Chantor, he was willing to do just about anything. He told one of his sweethearts he'd fuck a dog. The only taboo was pickles. My best guess is that Chris believes he can better solidify his new threesome relationship by becoming a dick-licker. Over the past several years he's become a lot more tolerant towards gay men, and now, finally, he's crossed the Rubicon, and there are no sexual practices he won't engage in if it will get him a permanent Barb-replacement.

I can't disagree with any of this. It doesn't fit that pattern of blackmail/bribery. The straightforward candor of it and reasonable enthusiasm seems atypical.

But I am still reluctant to conclude he wants the pickle. Penises have been a huge issue for him. For his whole life he has had a massive aversion to them, and recently it transferred to become a hatred of his own. Whether or not repressed homosexuality his a possible explanation for it is probably a valid discussion, but I just find it hard to believe Chris allowed himself to flip his opinion so drastically.

I may well be wrong, but my best guess right now is that there is some way he thinks this could lead to china. For example, he thinks he can be in a relationship with a guy and a girl and he has to deal with the pickle to get the china, he thinks he can be in a relationship with a biological female who wants to be a man and he is dealing with her imaginary pickle to get at her real china, or he thinks he can be in a relationship with a genuine woman, but that woman really wants him to identify as "bisexual" for some reason.

This scenario differs from the "It's ok to be gay" video and others like it because Chris wants his audience to believe he is telling the truth. In the previous videos, a lot of the "disgust" may have been feigned so that he could fulfill the letter of the deal while still making it clear that he was not gay. Now, he may have an incentive to feign as much enthusiasm for the pickle as he can.

Right, that's what I think is happening here. It's more akin to Ivy asking him to make a video than Clyde Cash forcing him to make one. There's about a zero percent chance that he came up with this without troll influence. But it still indicates his willingness to do what his sweetheart wants, so to that extent he's being honest.

Then Chris wouldn't have developed the same kind of disdain for bisexual people because he's autistic and takes things exactly as they're phrased to him. "Homosexuality is bad according to my father, who is wise, but he didn't say anything about this other similar thing, so it must not be as bad."

It would be interesting to know if he would take issue with two bisexual men being in a relationship; if they're not calling it "gay", would Chris be okay with it?
