That's kind of usual for people on the spectrum. I think, also, he looks very weathered. Chris' lifestyle explains it all, he probably only drinks water when it gets into his mouth by accident through sweat and showering, and the only vegetables or fruits he eats are spreadable and preserved with substances that could take down lab rats.

Funeral homes often have resources for that to call upon as necessary (a lot of times older folks have friends but they might be too old themselves to be able to do it). Congregations can also help out.
