Begging for money to pay the bills while livestreaming from his brand new PS4

Man I miss the carefree days of 26 year old Chris when he pretty much had no concept of money and just played games and did retarded shit all day long. Chris got a lot more boring once he decided to start using the internet as an ebegging outlet.

My guess is that Barb straight up told Chris he has to get a job to help out more financially. He doesn't want to get a REAL job so he's trying to convince her that his online sales are enough and that he can discipline himself to work on it harder and correct his sleep schedule and whatever else sounds good.
.

I'm thinking this is it. The financial situation has gotten so bad that even Barb can't sweep it under the rug anymore. Like, she has to see no way out at this point and probably told Chris he finally has to step up.

Of course getting a job and working a whole 8 hours a day would shatter Chris' world. Do you guys fully understand this? This is a man who has spent the majority of his life literally doing whatever he wanted, when he wanted. Wants to play video games for 10 straight hours? Nothin' else on your plate, go for it. Want to eat McDonalds every day? I'm lovin' it. See a new Lego set online? Doesn't matter that it's $150, that's what a credit card is for!

Because of all these bad choices that Chris made, and his parents allowed him to make, the situation at his household has deteriorated terribly, at a steady, unending pace. Now the fact that Barb has faced a lawsuit for not paying debts, and lost, it seems the situation has finally reached its breaking point. It can't continue like this for Chris any longer.

So, and I'm giving Barb credit here if my guess is right, Barb decided Chris has been coddled long enough and needs to enter the world, as an adult.

Nothing terrifies Chris more than that. You have to work 1/3rd of the day (assuming he got a full time job). Do you know how much that cuts into video game time?! So like alterid said, he's trying to make it seem like he's making a change ( i.e. applying himself more at his Etsy store, and working on his sleep schedule), when in reality, he won't change a thing. Believe me, I remember this tactic when I was a kid. My mom would want me to do something to improve myself, like studying more to bring grades up, and instead of just agreeing to what she wanted, I would specifically name things I would do to improve my grades, like for example " I will study from 6:30 to 7:30", not because I was trying to discipline myself, but because I was working it out in my head what selfish shit I could do for myself in the time before and after that "study" time. Chris is following the same principle...Except he's a man that's almost 35 years old.

There's nothing new here really but that almost helps make this video even more interesting. He's still using 'past stresses,' as an excuse for not actually doing anything productive when it comes to Sonichu, yet instead of trying to fix that by doing more comics he just thinks that people need reminded about his donation level and rewards.

I wonder what's happened in the background, if maybe Chris has been too busy playing Playstation 4 to realise that he's already almost burned through his tugboat for the month and now he has realised he's desperate. I know what Marvin means when he says Chris is able to stay on top of his bills but when it comes to making a profit from Sonichu and his name he can be so half assed, and that costs him a lot of potential money.

Yea, I'm getting an inconsistent vibe from him here. He's basically saying the reason he's behind on promised sonichu items and comic pages I'd because he's too stressed about needing money. So just give him more money and stop complaining.

I have no doubt he needs the money as it sounds like him and Barb are behind on bills and in doubt. But Chris's room looks like an autistic Pharaoh's tomb with luxury Lego sets and expensive video game peripherals strewn about. It's kind of hard to feel any sympathy here.

Barb's rotting corpse may also be wrapped up in a blanket downstairs.

I mean, it's far more likely than Barb deciding that Chris has been coddled long enough.

08:23: "And I'm not reading any of those comments either, so you may as well stop right there"

Then why do you bother with doing a livestream, you bellend?

Stinky Winky + Rainbow Dash spell book + army of legos = trouble

I think I figured out the new villain in the upcoming Harry Potter book.

It's even funnier when you realise that Alchemists really did try to transmute shit into gold, particularly that of royalty...

So, and I'm giving Barb credit here if my guess is right, Barb decided Chris has been coddled long enough and needs to enter the world, as an adult.

I don't think so, Barbs old and even a decade ago she just sat in her chair and "snoozed" often she's now well into her 70's and in declining health so sleeping's going to be more common, she's more than likely just helped herself to a larger than normal chunk of tugboat and moaned at Chris that he's got a expensive new toy and even then I doubt she's aware of it than told him to get a job.

I know Chris's hoarding was bad, but from this angle we can see just how ridiculously packed his new room has become. He could probably sell two thirds of his Lego wasteland by going back to eBay and getting some fast cash off it (if any of it still holds value).

That would be somewhat easier than waiting on handouts and :tugboat: ... but yeah, that's never gonna happen. You would have to pry Chris's toys from his cold dead oestrogel-coated hands before he'd consider parting with them.

Oh it holds value. Old lego sets are worth some decent cash once they are no longer available on the retail market. Granted, because they're opened already, they will be worth less, but presuming he has some sets that are no longer for sale in a toy store, he could get a decent price for them, provided he has all the pieces.

But like you said, asking him to sell his Legos would be like asking a mother to give up her newborn child

And you would probably need to wash the shit out of them. Possibly literally.

In the past chris has always been bailed out by his white knights when he is unable to pay his bills. Do you think they will do it again?

Some probably will, but their donations will only delay the inevitable. Chris and Barb seem to be too deep in shit, financially.

I don't get why Chris says "Please, donate and help me and my family."

What family? His mother is all what's left of it, because his half brother wants nothing to do with both of them. and there's no evidence of other relatives ever wanting to visit or even contact them at all.

Because he likes exaggerating.
