Maybe I don't have the same perspective, but I love stuff like this. One of the most fascinating aspects of Chris, to me, isn't any hilarity that ensues from his bizarre dealings with the world, but rather the meticulous effort to document and interact with him. I like the Bigfoot style sitings, pictures from a distance, complex schemes, travel just to see him. It may be trying too hard, it may be weenish, but honestly I just think it's fun. If I had the chance I would definitely travel to ruckersville and visit the various Chris related locations and even attempt to find him. I don't think calling and yelling Julayyyy is interesting, but anything that can uncover more information about chris is great in my book.

I wonder if Barb died in March, and Chris has been trying to hide the fact from the outside world for as long as he can, even to the point of trying to impersonate her voice from inside the house to anyone who may come to the door. (this isn't another "What will Chris do when Barb dies?" comment. I swear)

This is true, Chris literally does not appreciate anything given to him, as a personal experience back in the LBP days I had a spare promotional costume code so I gave it to Chris and he sent me back a list of all the other costumes he wanted.

Chris can't impersonate Barb's voice. Remember when he tried to during one of Alec's phone calls? In his mind that was a perfect imitation.
 
i mean i dont really care about "ween". this isn't like a fake gf or network of fabricated friends, cough cough.

you tried, failed and you went on about your trip. nothing wrong with any of this just kinda dull

you get a gold star for intentions and a bigger gold star for upsetting hypersensitive posters
 
While he did try doing something nice for the sake of being nice, he also did just show up on someone's property.

I'm sure most of us are listed more than we know or would like in regards to something like a doxxing. I'd love a friend to swing by and drop a present off, and heck I'd like a present as is but if someone from this site some how found my house and brought me a gift. I'd be creeped out. Even more so understanding for Chris with history of trolls.
 
If some weirdo showed up at my door on a Wednesday morning bearing unsolicited photographs I'd tell them to fuck off too.

Or pushed for her to actually call the cops, then they could've arrested you and you could tell us what the inside of the Greene County jail is like. Maybe they would've put you in the exact cell Chris spent the night in!

For the record, OP did ask me for advice before doing so and I did warn him he might not accept it all but if he wanted to give Chris something, I wouldn't really stop him.

Lessons are best learned through experience though.

Nope, this was a once in a lifetime event in passing. Finished and done with. I have my memento, and thats enough for me
 
Times have changed people. I knew it was gonna happen, but others didn't. "Do you REALLY think someone would waste their time to go to 14BLC?"

Yes, all along, the answer was yes. Times have changed, trolling doesn't happen yet people still want content, and just as our court reporters and field agents of recent times are proving, if we want to make our content, then by damn we will.

Next January, my dad and I will be starting a father-son road trip starting in Maryland (so I can see Magfest), if I felt like wasting half a day to see 14BLC, then by damn, I'll go and fill my 60-year old dad in on the way.
