"I ended up taking a medicine" *sigh*

She's acting like she's already successful--proud of herself for taking 1.6k steps, showing off how loose her FitBit is on her wrist, lost 8 lbs...Becky is going to lose more weight and win the money, she seems more focused on diet principles, as opposed to Amber's fixation on diet accessories.

You know, I heard this when she said it. But depending on HOW loose it is, that could be why it thinks she made so many steps/calorie loss, too. It needs to be against the wrist completely not tight but definitely not loose, or it won't accurately register steps, heart rate, etc.

I mean, it only says that in the instructions.

She's not going to lose weight in the end. No way in hell. No diet in the world will help her with that, she needs to seek help and talk to medical professionals to get her eating disorder under control. But, she knows better than the professionals, let's not forget!

I looked up that fit-bit, it comes with two bands, a small one and a large one that fits wrists up to 8.1 in. That's huge. That blanket looks pretty loose on her too. She's so fragile and waif-like.

1600 steps = approx. 3/4 of a mile. Not sure she can even manage that actually. Her fitbit told her she burned 5kcals whilst doing so or something as well right? I plugged in her exercise into MyFitnessPal. I put her as walking at a slow 2.0 mph (which would take her 15-20mins to walk 1600 steps) and her weight as 500lbs because lezbereal here. Told me she burned 142 calories. Not really sure who to believe.

The ~5000 calorie figure seems way out if proportion for the amount of exercise performed. I think the FitBit may be taking her basal metabolic rate into account??

"I will say... I was planning on exercising from the get-go but (wheeze) I realized today how sore I am from vomiting. You know where your ribs are located? It hurts all around right there in my back because I vomited SO much yesterday. Like if I giggle in the slightest (gigglewheeze) it hurts so bad, like, I did a thousand quatrillion crunches."

That's rich. Vomiting from a stomach virus is the most exercise she's had in years.

Anything that can cause movement can cause erroneous steps. Elevators! Escalators! Cars! Bikes! Hover-Rounds!
And waddling or rolling.

But still she is fit enough to eat her weird bird quinoa food.

It absolutely does but I still think 5000 for the day is pushing it. For a sedentary (includes more than just a walmart trip) person of her age/height/weight the TDEE would be about 3500.

I think the FitBit is thrown off cause her heart rate gets so high doing nothing. If she uses it as inspiration that's great but if she uses it to eat up to that level its not going to be good.

It shouldn't be thrown off because of the HR -- but that is ASSUMING she put her actual weight in the set up. It's pretty smart software all things considered (such as my bemoaning of its issues with movement; those are GENERALLY minimal) -- I honestly think (looking back at her video) her biggest issue is she's wearing it wrong. It's far too loose.

She’s going to use those calories to determine how much she can eat. She is going to eat an entire days worth of food because the Fitbit is miscalculating somehow and then she is going to wonder why she isn’t losing.

As a general rule, you shouldn't eat back calories burned from exercise while trying to lose weight. It's a guaranteed way to stall out your weight loss, especially since she isn't going to be eating the minimum of 1200 calories per day.

I really don't know why she bothered with a fitbit. She's not going to actually exercise in any meaningful way.

So she can pat herself on the back for taking one more step today than she did yesterday. 365 extra steps a year really adds up, it's those little changes...like leaving behind a grain of quinoa on your plate and switching from Halloween candy to kind bars.

Vomiting and shitting is such a workout guise.

The real question is -- did Becky wipe for her?

Amber didn’t say what kind of tests they did at the hospital and she continues to worry about her gallbladder. If she truly has gallstones and continues to eat the way she does, shit’s gonna get bad. Gallstones are painful as all hell and honestly it’s something that you don’t just live with if you have persistent problems throughout your life. I guess I just wonder how in the world a surgery team is going to operate on AL if her gallbladder is that bad and gets to the point of requiring removal.

Also lol at Amberlynn proud of 1500 steps - she literally does nothing all day. Most people work and commute and still manage three times that without trying. Gurl no. The Fitbit is going to be so counterproductive to her because she has little understanding of the numbers she should be reaching.

I'm pretty sure my elderly neighbor walks more than 1.6 K steps a day. She will never lose weight. That fitbit was a waste of money just like everything else she buys.

I have a fitbit and it does not track steps when you are in a car, elevator, etc. It tracks based on up/down movement, so unless she pulled a Destiny and taped the fitbit to a fan or one of her dogs, it would not count extra steps.

She is either lying go us about her weight (e.g she weighs 550 and input that to her fitbit so daily calorie burn is astronomically higher)

Or

She is lying by pulling a Destiny (I suspect she attached the fitbit to Twinkie)

Either way, one thing is for sure. Our gorl is lying righ from the New Year
