I really wish that all the musings about "epic 4chan!!!1!" on various social media platforms would stop. Sometimes I check some boards out of curiosity and I regret it every time.
It's nothing but people responding to obvious baits or even obvious jokes, people getting baited by bots, bots arguing with people, bots arguing with bots, trannies and some anti-hate organizations running gay-ops, and some lost tourists who came to lurk because they read about funny maymays on hacker know as 4chan chiming in from time to time.
I don't know how that site looked like in its glory days and I don't care, it doesn't resemble what people mention it for at all. It makes some brainlets on twitter or lefty gamedevs accusing 4chan even these days of every dox, drama or hate crime even more odd- like out of all current residents of the site who do you think bothered to do some ebin evil nazi mastermind hacking- the trannies, the bbc spammers or the bots?

It was a dogshit scraper that filled the site with popups, popunders, and ads that would straight up hijack your page if you clicked on anything. The data is transferrable and it was mostly their own fault.

For some reason people like to send me r/greentext pictures. All of them except for a few are written like a redditor trying to make an "epic 4chan" post and then screenshotting it for some upvotes.

Pardon my negligence but it seems as though several boards have been heavily raided for the past week or two. As we know, the Buffalo shooting was a (possible) psy-op and attempt for the American government to gain some control of 4chan- ultimately, 4chan in its entirety should be shut down so that all the people contained in it are spread throughout the rest of the Internet, but the means to that end are unknown. It seems the tide has turned HARD against trans people and social media in general- which is a good thing, and contrarianism is being lambasted as it should once again. Schizophrenia is at an all-time high, and popcorn is a requirement as you watch the battle between people in the industry and people who know their shit about the way of the world that are fed up with dealing with stepping around on their tippie toes.

/co/ is usually an obvious shill board, but the moderators have been heavily watered down (or paid off) and is filled with more astroturfing than ever. Something real fishy going on here. Practically all threads end up with very nasty fights which has made the board a real drag to read. Any post remotely controversial or anti-Disney gets taken down very quickly- I tested this with a Club 33 joke and it was removed within a minute.

I'm just glad that people have wisened up to this bullshit. I hope there's a happening (or multiple) soon that isn't caused by a misled New York retard; instead, it's an estrogen addict who has access to daddy's gun.
