Might depend on the board; I've never had that problem on say /lit/ or /wsr/. /b/ might be a different story.
I'm thinking it has slowed down significantly.
/pol/ has moved at a snail's pace for weeks now. But there's also a LOT of sliding going on. If you look at the catalogue and posts/thread.
75% of it is b8 threads with under 30 replies.
But I've also noticed that there are all day threads and even threads that run for 2 and sometimes 3 days.
Same thing over on /b/ /soc/ /tg/ /gif/ /fit/
Gentlemen, I regret to inform you that my shitposting days are over. 4chan has finally banned my ip range. After years of torturing the jannies on /v/, I got bored and decided to shitpost on /lgbt/. It only took two ban evades for them to go nuclear and ban my entire ip range from the site.
Yeah they banned my IP range for a solid 2+ years. It got lifted around 6 months ago maybe? When I say that they banned the entire range I'm talking about multiple whole cities around the area. One VERY major US city included due to "abuse".
They wouldn't elaborate or respond to any questions about it.
Mobile posting was fine as well as connecting to mobile hotspot.
It was still pretty annoying though.
I'm just wondering if they range banned you due to spam bots being in or around your area.
In my instance it was a whole ass ISP area ban that happened to pretty much have a monopoly in the area.
Going through a different ISP worked just fine and dandy.
Range bans are pretty much a nuclear missile option for a small problem.
It screws over 99 people to get 1.
