So much of modern 4chan are just Redditors who are just edgy enough that they can't post some of their thoughts on Reddit without getting swept. Then there are the ones who think Kiwi Farms is like Reddit because we have reactions or something. Some of it is just mindless tribalism where the "new" (not that this place is new at all) place is bad because it's new (to them.)

For what it's worth I have noticed in about the last six months or so when I actually use the site that I see the term "troon" getting used quite a bit.

because 4chan culture is to not brag about being from or strongly identifying with another site/community, because that brings with it the baggage of forum identities/post histories/post count/modship/etc. You're only supposed to talk about THE THING or whatever it veers off into. I like seeing the farms mentioned but if you do I will shit talk you and call Null a child-molesting closeeted-faggot terrorist myself because that's what you do on 4chan. The next time you mention the farms in a thread about Dobson on /v/, it might be me calling you a creepy weird stalker and reporting your post!

Likely fear of the Internet and what they're doing online being directly archived and what people will do with it. Ranging from posting the word "nigger" a lot out of personal amusement and not wanting to be fired or jailed, to something more extreme such as being involved with the likes of Million Pity and really not wanting law enforcement to show up.

Yeah that's what I'd do minus the reporting part, but there's a difference between shitposting about nool just because and because you're unironically seething, and the latter is increasing. You can pretty much sense the stank of a seething banned idiot or troon cow on their posts.
