I never got the "b-but you can le murder people in video games" argument.
If you jerked off to that instead I'd still think you're a maliciously creepy fuck too.
Indeed, violence and sexual content affect the brain very differently. Violent video games can act as an outlet for violence whereas sexualized content acts as a means of encouraging that kind of desire. A violent game can help you let off steam, whereas porn only increases your desire for more porn.

/tv/ still being excellent despite their disproportionate pedo population.View attachment 5202922
>board about television & movies
>disproportionate pedo population

I see what you did there. it's still wild how a single board has birthed so many fucking memes.

God damn, that's a long woman. The reason she feels safe to walk around is because she's a fucking amazon compared to the average Japanese man. Unfortunately, Japan does indeed have a problem with sexual assault and harassment, as well as a rather pronounced stalking issue. Japan doesn't talk about these things in the open because they want to maintain the image of order.
so does the west, but it doesn't talk about these things because it would be racist. until someone can point out the japanese version of rotherham and the new year's eve culturally enrichment of cologne all this is moot.

the point I'm trying to make is no society is perfect, because every society is made up of people, which are obviously far from perfect. it's also important to remember everything comes at a price, a big reason japan's high trust society works because of it's groupism. another thing to keep in mind that a society is made up of individuals, and while japan will fuck over certain individuals (just like west, or any other society), there will others benefiting from it since there is, one again, no perfect solution.
however it turns out that most people prefer to live in a society like this, and willing to accept what comes alongside it (most of them aren't affected by it that much anyway), than something like south africa (because you're affected whether you want to or not).

you bring gifts because it's the nice thing to do when invited. you bring souvenirs, which people have done for centuries not to make up for taking time off work, but because you have a relationship with your coworkers (relationship doesn't mean sexual or romantically only). something the west has and tries to push as well, see the silly walmart floor dance videos. it also implies you thought of them while being away.
the west also shames you when you quit your job to a degree, either because you leave your coworkers (and thus relationships) behind, you or someone else thinks "you gave up" or you think "my boss needs me". none of that is unique to japan, it's just done differently - and again individually there are often ways around it anyway. and again not unlike the west where saying the wrong shit, or simply not bending the knee to DIE, will kill any promotions, if not your career.

same for education, letting a kid fuck it's future is dumb (they're kids after all), but at least they're not sold into a college-debt ponzi scheme or fucked over due to the chemical composition of their skin. and it's not like japan isn't aware of it, compare the showa era to now. boomers are boomers in every society. but like any societal change it's slow (but inevitable) when it comes from the society itself. as much as you might laugh about MUH WEF MUH 2030, a fucking lot of all this shit over here is social engineering from outside forces.

because 4chan culture is to not brag about being from or strongly identifying with another site/community, because that brings with it the baggage of forum identities/post histories/post count/modship/etc. You're only supposed to talk about THE THING or whatever it veers off into. I like seeing the farms mentioned but if you do I will shit talk you and call Null a child-molesting closeeted-faggot terrorist myself because that's what you do on 4chan. The next time you mention the farms in a thread about Dobson on /v/, it might be me calling you a creepy weird stalker and reporting your post!
>admitting to posting on 4chan in 2023
shiggy diggy

we've now got someone spamming threads somehow referencing Retroblasting (who has his own thread in prospering grounds)
He's been doing it for 3 years now, it's some falseflag by an autist absolutely buttblasted at another autist (who makes incredibly bland and boring videos) I'm pretty sure the prospering grounds thread OP is the spammer, or at least in the raid discord as there was suspicious amount of freshly made accounts that posted in that thread and only that thread. They don't just make a load of threads they bump them enough to keep them from falling off page 10. Its supremely autistic shit.

Update on the state of /co/. Still a shitshow but caught a thread right before it was deleted. Possibly a mod leak of some kind? Or complete retardation by an underaged. Either way worth archiving the whole thing.
I agree with those people about doxxxxxxxing. You really could ruin someone's life if you revealed to everyone they were a 4chan jannie.

Clinically depressed Canadian anon talks about his experiences with roommates, including a drug addicted couple who turned their apartment into a drug den.
This is a genuine classic. I remember reading it when it was posted. Not the original post, but a repost of the screencap a couple days later. Holy fuck, it was over ten years ago.

Mild Question, why do Anons on the boards seethe so fucking hard whenever the Farms are mentioned? I saw a thread on /tg/ that became a mess as soon kf was mentioned.
Because whenever this site gets screwed with, people on here go crying to 4chan on places like /pol/ about how internet free speech is dead unless anons become this forum's personal army. When most of them don't know what this place is or don't care, the users here tend to sperg out and start fighting with the anons or start getting mocked. And sometimes they're just angry troons.

I decided to look at the /tg/ archive, and I'm wondering why you thought it was smart to post this stuff under your username here.
