/qa/ was made solely to be used for a single Q&A for Moot and Gookmoot and yet instead of just freezing the board when it wasn't in use or even just deleting it, they literally just left it sitting around with minimal moderation and let any retard who found it do whatever they wanted. That video of the kid proposing to his girlfriend with a printed soyjak wouldn't exist if the mods just did some basic moderation instead of ERPing in Discord all day while a bunch of children form a cult around mspaint edits of fucking wojaks.

And this went on for like two fucking years until they decided to finally step in, AND it was only after /qa/ raided the literal gay tranny board (/qa/ had raided several boards before this and /lgbt/ being the last straw is quite telling, to put it mildly.) Of course, by then it was way too late since at that point the teens had a proper altchan for a while, so they just moved off and kept on doing their business and now here we are today, where 4chan, one of the most influential websites on the internet, is at a high risk of getting completely fucked beyond repair, all because their absolute joke of a moderation team couldn't put in the barest amount of effort into their jobs.

So, while these jannies are panicking over their porn torrents being shared while the site burns down, I hope they realize that the Sharty didn't kill 4chan.

Genuinely pathetic to be a fucking nintoddler in 2025 nintendo hasn't been good since the wii u era at least and even then it's been getting greedy remember that fucking wii sports wii u game that was like a subscription or some shit

Also not true, 4chan has been dying, you can check 4stats.io and see that every board is in steep decline long before the 15min waiting period. I just did a data comparison for the 3 Fishtank seasons on /tv/ and the downtrend from 2023 to today is so dramatic that i had to do a linear regressions to even the data out so everything was on a level playing field. /pol/ is actually trending back to where it was in 2015 in terms of posting activity per day. The site is so shot to shit that its safe to say its in a deathspiral, the lack of official apps for the site is also a serious issue they don't seem to give a fuck about either. As it stands there is no app for Android that is functional for years now.

100%. Most millenials grew out of using places like 4chan, so the only ones left that use them with enough regularity are gooners, troons, NEETs, and similar aka the bottom of the barrel. Zoomers grew up with social media and because of that they mostly use social media, which becomes a vicious cycle of non-social media being unpopular because you have almost no reach there and people not using non-social media sites becuase they are not popular. The zoomers who use imageboards are either irony-poisoned 'teens or troons in neocities, making it all worse

I semi-regularly browsed /vn/, and mostly stuck around for new releases. I never understood what was going on with the spam, but I overlooked it as the general was way less bad than other generals I browsed.

I'll chime in even more. The only e-celeb they've ever stickied was that black Smash player who would make all those overly exaggerated hype videos (RIP to him, he killed himself). Forgot his name. Also, Nintendo Direct were also the first stickied threads for those kinda things. /v/ mods will not only suck Nintendo's cock, but will massage their balls while they slide their fingers in your asshole.
