They have a literal decade of upgrades to catch up on, and now that yotsuba is public (again lol) with all custom patches too, you can bet your ass a bunch of people scoured the entire code looking for potential entry points.

I suspect they may have hired some company to fast forward yotsuba to modern quality standards, and are just gonna wipe the servers and redeploy.
