I have something of worth to say,
4chan's /agdg/ is bad. Whatever benefits anyone could reap from holding, hosting, and communicating with /agdg/ is canceled by hosting their auxiliary communities on Itch.io and Discord. Itch.io is incapable of protecting itself from hosts who drop them over ludicrous funko-pops demanding a take-down, and Discord is compromised.
I can't even engage with it in passing to congratulate those who make progress developing their game due to the post-timeout.

I've kept KF on my radar since it hosts an extremely slow (productive) game-dev thread, a stubborn host, and Nidalnijmgames.

Whenever anything happens or a game I'm interested in is released, my first impulse is to see what the Kiwis think. I hope Kiwifarms can maintain its momentum and quality as the entirety of the Internet stagnates.

Not to be gay about it or cozy up to him, but Null's mentioned throughout the thread that he's used these imageboards ages ago. I'm betting he has more oldfag credibility than anyone who complains about 4chan refugees. Kiwi Darwinism will take care of the bad ones anyway.

Did any of you guys still go on 4chan? I started going on like 2010 but I just ended up only really using /vr/ to talk about old games.

It's not just /pol/niggers it's every faggot from 4chan now bored coming here to colonize the site. And even if you were correct, registration should have been shut down the second 4chan went down because everyone knew this shit would happen and people even warned him.

If it didn't matter I don't believe Hillary's campaign would have diverted noticeable effort to fighting them. /pol/ was probably scary because presidential elections generally don't receive much participation from young people. Meanwhile, Donald Trump (in some way her campaign couldn't figure out) was drumming up support from a demographic that's typically checked out of politics and they were making OC spread across social media to make him seem like the cooler candidate. We're still seeing the consequences of that, not just because Trump is president again but because sensationalism over these elections has hit an all-time high. It's enough to make Obama's campaigning seem like a quaint memory.

Maybe this is all an organic happening, maybe not.

Regardless 4chan had became rather denigrated with all of the shilling and psyops from state agencies. It really did have the propensity to drive some users insane and I think the purpose of that was because the site was reaching end of useful life. Time to get it off the books.

Can't help but see the tie in with the major concerted effort to corral users onto twitter as a purported kosher based alternative, rife with limited hangout e-celebs chumming the waters constantly. IDK something about the whole thing, not this particular incident but the long slow decline in quality that has gotten markedly worse over the past few years, makes this seem fake. It feels like they're ending the charade pretty soon idk
