my initial point was that the only things that would get moderated would be only shit like CP (outright violating federal law) and blatant spam flooding, and that ideally it would be done by an AI bot. there is literally no reason to be banned for anything else. all those "quality on topic discussion" cucks don't get that its about the people and the community. yeah the board clearly will have a main topic, and it will be the most discussed thing on the board naturally, but if people are having fund discussing something else at the moment, especially because it breaks the usual cookie cutter templates of the board then what fucking good does it do to shut it down? I’m kind of at this point myself. I had lurked here before during big events, but never thought I’d make an account. After posting ITT and lurking other threads the last few days, I’m seeing the wisdom of a forum like this. If the 4chan admin team gave a shit and tried to improve the site this wouldn't be happening. Instead they choose to keep it in stasis and making worse decisions as time goes on. 4chan and the rest of the internet will never be back in the "golden age" of the 2000s because that Era has passed and the world has changed for the worse which includes the internet/culture/hobbies/users. The best thing they can do is to keep what made it great while evolving to deal with the challenges of the modern internet instead of letting it degrade with each passing day by sitting on their ass and gooning on discord
