You need transparency for moderation. And a iron grip over moderation so they follow the will of the owner and don't become powermods. 4 chan seems to have had the issue of letting every mod do their own thing with zero oversight. That's a problem.

Just make public logs (a dedicated page for it, add a search engine & filters and it would be perfect) for every actions the moderation do. And if they think it's curated, give the raw moderation logs in a .txt format.

I still think they should just tack a basic A.I. to identify shit and check if it goes against the rules. Cold software logic can't go wrong, only shit rules do (and bad programming). No more 9000 jannies, only one or two that can be held accountable and do things that need human oversight.

And for videos, I've been using yt-dlp with the -f mp4 but the suggested format 22 doesn't appear to work and is not present in the listings, is the etiquette to only use mp4 then or is something else being used? Also, if I attach files it doesn't render them properly so I'm dragging them here, deleting them and reinserting them as thumbnails. Anyone else experiencing that?
