memes are the soul of 4chan, the decline of that was the end of it.
there are plenty of good places for smartfags to compare notes, and a good effort post is a good effort post anywhere, the image board format and everyone having MSPaint as a tool is why nothing memed on the level 4chan could when it was fully operational during those windows where the cancers couldn't hold it back.

4chan regroups and raids the entire internet? It's already been shown that a lot of sites traffic is so fake and so little organic content is posted that it's trivial to quickly overwhelm any given site with a small crew of anons.

It doesn't really take much for people to move on and find alternatives or new experiences. The best and most common comparisons I've seen is how 4chan was a domestic abuse partner that occasionally did nice things or said nice things to you, but overall was pure cancer to your mental and physical sanity. At a certain point you just say enough is enough and completely omit that bad chapter of your life and move on.

No. It will be repopulated with one or two schizos screaming into the void of their generals. A new generation of janitors will come and will be just as incompetent, and with poor OPSEC as the previous batch.

We're not. The media fuckery is possible because they (make effort to) control all the gates for information. If the bars of the cage were paranormal, there would be no need to gatekeep. Government has effectively become a cabal or participating theater companies, because the development of tools to govern turned to illusions, propaganda, and deception instead of taking on the risks and limitations (and potential failure, ultimately) of honest transparent governance.

For my part, I will show jannis more respect while shitposting on every board. I think we Canadians have a huge influence on 4chan. That means if we set the tone, others will follow suit.
