Hiro thinks advertisers are willing to associate their products with /a/,/co/,/v/, and /tv/ but not /b/ and /pol/? I'm not sure that's a whole lot of companies.

Like /pol/acks won't deliberately queer the deal just for the hell of it.

I could easily see them treating this as worthy of the Samson Option.

All I can see from this split is one of three things. Either,

- The sites prosper as their separate counterparts.
- The experiment fails and Hiromoot mirges them back together.
- This finally kills 4Chan in its entirety.
It'll be the latter two without a doubt, the only way the first would work is if moderation is ramped up to unbearable levels and shitposters abandon the place as a result of said moderation.

Hell, I know /vp/'s planning on convincing Bui to come back just to teach Gookmoot a lesson in hardcore furfaggotry/shitposter power.

Sad thing is, I've been hearing that they might just do that, especially with the SFW boards. Which would be an impossibility considering the hydra effect and how it applies to 4Chan regardless of board.

Remember that time moot tried to delete /pol/ and it became the wild west?
Good times

I'm actually kind of hoping this leads to a site-wide shitposting bonanza, if it kills 4chan I'll finally be free from the madness the site brings.
Where he spammed it with cuckold porn?

I had a real time recording of the board but it's on my other computer and it's completely fucked right now
A similar thing happened to /vp/ when its users asked Moot for more moderation in a sticky and he said it'd be done, someone (a lot of us suspect it was Bui) spammed the sticky with both furry and non-furry Pokemon porn.

If you've gone to blue boards lately, you've probably seen this
sfwsplit.PNG

In order to maximize shekel intake, Hiro is trying to split of the more advertiser-friendly boards to the boards.4channel.org domain (you need a direct board link to access the site, e.g. boards.4channel.org/g/). People are understandably concerned, as there likely will be stricter moderation in order to appease advertisers.

On a personal note, I really hope 4chan implodes. Having one of the internet's largest septic tanks explode would be highly hilarious to me.

At least /k/ is safe.

For now.

/k/ is the shitposting board of all the armys in the world, so i doubt gook moot would even be able to touch it, it would be another /pol/ shoah all over again
As soon as the money starts coming in, there will be literally no motivation to keep the NSFW boards, unless Hiro is actually comitted to freeze peach like he says.
