The post above reminded me of something regarding "sage"
When you didn't want to bump a thread, you put sage in the email field (which is now "Options"). Over time, this was used by people assmad that something they didn't like was being discussed, and thus, saging was seen as a sign of being butthurt, or mad at the internet. I vaguely recall seeing anons on /v/ say /jp/ is the most butthurt board on 4chan...because they saged a lot. As far as I could tell, /jp/ used sage properly - when you don't feel like your post is worth bumping a thread, you just put sage in the email and there you go. Now, I wouldn't even know if they use it because moot (I think it was him) changed 4chan so that it doesn't show if you're saging or put anything in the Options field, iirc.

It used to be sage was polite, you wanted to comment but didn’t want to bump thr thread; but then it got viewed as a downvote so moot hid it.

Let's just be honest soyjak was never funny

Soyjak was only used to mock the fact that there are overwhelming cases of people proudly taking selfies with their Soylent drinks, while making over exaggerated faces.

It’s been turned into a /pol/ meme that argues why Marvel and Star Wars movies can infantilize a generation that inject politics which involve transgenders and black women self inserting themselves into famous characters from said movies.

Some archive sites show saging.

I'm not sure that that's a part of the 4chan interface anymore or if they determine it indirectly. Archives and 4chanx can tell you when a new IP posts in a thread not because the post says that anywhere but by monitoring the change in the IP count for each thread. Similarly archives are probably determining sage by seeing if the thread gets bumped when a post is made, not by reading any information off the post directly.

on /gif/ there's a wider coverage of the killings in colombia btw, /v/ has been doing a good coverage on timmy tencent getting tore a new ass in courts by the apple lawyers AND the judges, from them i found a link which has been streaming the whole thing.

plus there is many pics that show the basic retards that behave on 4chan because "anonymous", i saved one pic;

there is one where a dude holds a gore pic claiming to be hardcore too which summarizes /pol/ goreposters, they reply to people attaching random gore pics.
