probably the same reason you'd eat a suspension on /g/ for talking about coins, making a quest thread on /tg/, post pokemon on /v/, capeshit on /tv/ etc - take it to the appropriate board.

I wish but I've even seen the opposite happen: OP makes an off-topic thread (/vt/ thread on /a/), /a/nons get pissed and tell them to fuck off, jannies side with the /vt/posters and meticulously remove the anti-/vt/ posts instead of outright deleting this den of shitposting, or before doing so.
Also see here and there posts shitting to /vt/posting in unrelated threads that get deleted while other shitposts in the same thread get a pass- maybe I've just had bad luck with jannies! but it's a trend I'm starting to notice, they don't like when people shit on their streaming waifus. If the rules were applied it'd be as you say- no Pokémon on /v/ even though both are video games for example. But hey don't blame them they're the ones doing it for free, so they get who decide what goes into their hot pockets.

It’s such a simple fucking concept, but morons cannot take a hint. It is not helped though by the “what is allowed where” list being effectively secret.

Bitcoins on /pol/? Verboten. Take it to /biz/, simple concept.
How about philosophy and religion on /pol/? This is where the secret rules kick in.

to be fair, 4chan moderation has always been schizo even under moot, and it only got worse from there. wasn't there a janny who got pissy when people wrote nigger on /v/ a while back?
or look how any of the GG related drama was handled, I still remember when threads about neogaf imploding were moved to /pol/ of all boards (which was quite illuminating tho since the usual suspects showed they have no idea what thread ids are) where even chinkmoot had to step it for once. ironically the discussion was better too :story:

that's why people need to lurk moar
but seriously, usually shit got so bad most people were either part of it or get an appropriate notice in the suspension afterwards (if not their moderation sucks, but like I said that's nothing new).

You can find people like this in almost all drawthreads. They spam specific requests every thread for months that never get fulfilled
Yeah, but this guy is special in that he's doing it on twitter, where everyone can see who you are. And apparently because he stupidly exposed himself to the anons that it's been a recurring joke every time someone requests Grandia there.

Pretty much does some mod dislike whatever you're posting about? B&! And now they're at least half trannies.
