I doubt the pills are what he thinks they are, he doesn't have the money to afford black market shit. I don't think he's stupid enough to bankrupt himself like that. Especially when there's Legos and video games out there for him to waste copious amounts of money on.
But hey, as long as the pills ain't harmful, more power to him I guess.

I wish that someone could explain why ONE side of his chest looks like it gained 5 or 10 pounds , and the other looks just the same as it always did.

Chris' transition, combined with his dream of a future daughter and his time-traveling comic books that, let's face it, he probably at least halfway believes are possible, reminds me of the story by Robert A. Heinlein "All You Zombies."

Here's a plot summary from Wikipedia:

"'—All You Zombies—'" chronicles a young man (later revealed to be intersex) taken back in time and tricked intoimpregnating his younger, female self (before he underwent a sex change); he thus turns out to be the offspring of that union, with the paradoxical result that he is his own mother and father. We've already seen this played out somewhat in the Sonichu comics, where every character is basically a representation of Chris. We just haven't seen the ending...

Chris is actually Chris, his wife Lovely Weather, and his daughter Crystal. He is also the half-Cherokee prostitute.

all things aside, do we have honest-to-god-and-da-bear proof that chris is taking something?
it's not impossible for chris to be buying hormones, this is something important to him, he will put time and effort and money to it. (but if he can cut corners, he will)
the only way i think he would know what to take is if someone from that club told him what to get.
but i doubt he has hormones, i bet he either forgot what he was supposed to get, or decided his alternative was just as good. and i'm sure his alternates don't do shit.

Chris is beyond anybody's help. People have steered him in positive directions, but he just has an instinct for self destruction. He hasn't quite passed the point of no return. He can stop taking hormones. He can technically get his life together if the nearly impossibly correct set of circumstances occur, and the right mother drops dead choking on a hamburger. But ducks don't grow back. Every time Chris goes a little further down this path, he gets closer to genital mutilation. God dammit.
