What happened to Sorbet?

  • He escaped

  • Was kidnapped

  • Joined a circus

  • Commited suicide

  • Became one with the Hoard

  • Was eaten by Borb

Best case scenario (and one of the more likely ones in my opinion) is that Sorbet probably ran away, most likely to find a place to die quietly.

Sad, really. Sorbet was one of the few animals that didn't hate Chris on instinct and overall was one of the more well-behaved Chandler pets.
 
Good thing he redacted his phone number before posting it on FB because it is not as if he has spent the better part of a decade telling everyone what it is.
 
There was an episode of Hoarders where they were missing their dead cat for a few years. When the crew arrived and started cleaning they fucking found the cat dead behind the couch
 
I’ll give anybody 5 dollars to find Chris’ poster and write the ASPCA’s number in place of his, you’d be doing God’s work

He found his chance to escape and he did so. Now he is free..

If Sorbet was hurt chances are he's gone somewhere to lick his wounds and will probably show up or turn out mummifed under the trashpile.
 
They're outdoor cats anyhow, right? Likeliest scenario is that someone saw a cat that looked really fucked up and took it to the vet. I don't know if they have the cats microchipped (though I highly doubt it) so if it's not the same vet Chris and Barb take the pets to then the good Samaritan might just keep Sorbet. Lucky for him if they do.
 
I do feel for him. It sucks when a pet is missing.

On the other hand. Outside cats just disappear sometimes. He'll be back in a couple weeks or found a new family.
