All weens care about is joining what Hirtes calls "Trolling Valhalla." They may think anything is fair game to get there. Even if it means ruining what's left of Chris' sanity.
I honestly believe that Chris will settle down (not with a woman, but in general) and live out his future days in relative comfort.

It might take 20 years or so, but eventually everything will pass.

People harassing him will simply grow up and forget. (Unless they're truly exceptional like Michael Hirtes)

Oh man, anytime I see a Sorbet thread, I shed a single tear. He seems like such a sweet cat and looks a lot like one of my cats (orange, not disfigured).

I could also feel for Chris here, he's obviously upset if he needs to take to the internet.

If it turned out some ween actually did steal someones cat for lulz, Ween Hunting Season is going to become a literal, and grizzly business.

Who knows. It's definitely against the law to steal someone's pet and if someone were to have done it and Chris found out who it would be in his best interest to press charges.

Even if the ween dodged the charge/fee, it means some easy access to some very savory doxx.

He probably has been looking for the cat all week. He said he put up flyers and stuff. He's probably only now announcing the cat is gone online, because he's desperate and he's just shouting out at it into the cosmos hoping for a hail mary pass.

It won't be long until he puts up an ebay ad asking for people to pay him to find the cat.

Whatever Sorbet's fate, I hope they are unharmed and healthy, and whether or not they return to Chris, they deserve a better fate than to be the pawn of some sped hoping to torment an autistic man who, in all fairness to him, is showing more empathy for his pet than the tormentor was showing period.

found him he's picking him up at my house

Cats are assholes that are prone to wandering away and go missing for weeks at a time. When it's more than two months then you worry.

I love how people are so united when innocent animals are involved. Perhaps we aren't as low as we thought we were. But for real tho, Sorbet chance of being found is slim to none. RIP

Picture this: Sorbet wanders too far from home. Nice person finds him, sees his injuries, decides to take care of him.

Yeah, that's :optimistic: as hell. But the alternative is :heart-empty:.

Yeah, I suppose. I had a cat go missing for a couple of weeks, then he just showed back up like nothing happened . It was weird lol. If they're gone for a couple of days, it's not that unusual (maybe a bit worrying, but nothing to get the flashlights out over, as every cat I've ever had or known about has came back from short "trips"). When it's a week though? Idk. I can't blame a person for getting worried and deciding to go looking.
