He almost never lies, factually speaking. I can count on my hands the number of times he's lied in the decade we've been watching him.

That's fair, and why I'm not saying for sure that it's one way or the other. I'm just saying that if that IS the case then proof should be easy enough to provide, and there are multiple people in the higher tiers of the con here who would have to be outright lying in their statements to make his story jive. Also, how do you distinguish between outright lying and stretching the truth to its absolute limits? I.E. every time Chris asks for money that he ABSOLUTELY NEEDS NOWNOWNOW, but never seems to stop needing more? (And spending it on cons when he is in DESPERATE NEED NOWNOWNOW!)?

perhaps we could ask @Null if chris could show him the FB message. i mean not that that would disprove the possibility that he was warned verbally, but some visual evidence would be nice, at least.

though i am kind of doubting he was warned verbally. this staff is just a bunch of fucking pussies, man.
I see no reason to believe he wasn't. Unless we see the actual FaceBook message, but even then that doesn't prove that he wasn't warned in person.

Chris called.

The pussies running the convention didn't give him a single in-person warning. They sent him a facebook message. He didn't even see the warning until after the police arrived.

Fucking spineless little cuckboys too afraid to talk to Chris.
If this is legit then they deserve to have their con ruined.

If you're someone who wants to run something, such as a convention, then you need to be a leader. Leaders enforce rules through direct confrontation. They're willing and able to put themselves in that uncomfortable position because they know it's their responsibility. If you're irresponsible enough to only give warnings for serious offenses through passive means then you have no business running any kind of event.

Reminder that no one ever lies to cover their asses especially on Twitter.

The organizers are probably legit worried that they could have been liable for God knows what and are in damage control mode now.

I don't know what they did and frankly don't care. I know nerds and how they act in large groups though and if it looks like pigshit and smells like pigshit, it ain't fucking kosher, that's for sure.

Chris gets kicked out of TMG for doing the same shit that fat gross piece of shit Ryan and Justin from Screenwave would have done in a heart beat if given the opportunity.

It's probably a combination of two things.

1 - Chris was probably being a tard and making people uncomfortable because that's pretty much what he does.

2- #metoo and the hysterical climate of fear surrounding it made the con staff wildly overreact for fear of lawsuits/negative publicity.

Doesn't Chris always say he wasn't warned? Polite warnings don't register with him. He just ignores them like they never happened until the cops come.

Has he ever acknowledged a warning and changed his behavior to conform with it?

He once acknowledged a warning by running over a dude. Oh, yeah, and by storming out and macing an employee. So he does sometimes change his behavior to react to warnings. But you said "conform," didn't you? So not really, not until burly cops show up and force the issue.

and what is the evidence supporting this claim?

I didn't say there was evidence. You asked why people are acting from the basis that Chris was only warned through Facebook. That's why. With the information we have, it's every bit as valid a stance as accepting politician-esque "to my knowledge" Twitter assertations.

Oh, probably.
At the same time, I'm a tanky fuckin sperg much bigger than Chris, and I would be totally put off if he tried going for a little kissy when I just wanted an autograph or photo. Just sayin'.

I think the SDCC has a zero tolerance on unwanted contact. They don't give warnings. They chuck you out the door if you touch someone inappropriately. Cons have to maintain community standards or they don't get the venue the next year. I'm sure Chris is unaware of all that, but if he runs afoul of it, no amount of pleading or crying is going to change it. The con can't afford to lose their whole gig over one guy with a unicorn horn strap on.

Just imagine how many times female attendees will get groped if every man gets a single warning.

Does anyone who went to this convention have a copy of their guidelines somewhere? I think we should first establish if the con itself mentioned whether they will warn first or not.

so this is from the FAQ SECTION of their website. it's all very vague, which makes sense, i suppose.

They're not necessarily inconsistent. The con runners could have been giant cucks and given a "warning" they were too autistic to realize wouldn't get through Chris's thick skull, and then Chris was too autistic to recognize it as a warning.
