He spent a weekend in jail way back in the day. Borb blew way more than she should have on a shit lawyer, and it kicked off a lot of the financhu issues iirc. But, Chris did seem to chill the fuck out with the really dumb shit for a little while after.

That was when she was a defendant on criminal charges herself for the crime she committed. When it was just Chris, she was totally okay with a public defender handling it. Fucking hoarding whore.

How so? If you're asked to leave and you don't, they're gonna call the cops every time. Even if them asking you to leave was unwarranted (not the case it sounds like), it doesn't matter. Their convention, you leave when they ask or it's trespassing

I agree with you but we have one side saying there was face to face warning and other say they only sent a fb dm. We don't know if the kiss was consented then changed their mind

Thing is, everyone involved is kinda have a skewed perspective on the whole thing. But they tend to agree that Chris went too far.

It's not going well. I don't think Chris wants to hear it, which is unfortunate, because I'm not going to vouch for him to any convention managers unless I am relatively certain the message is clear. In my opinion, as of right now, him attending conventions is an extremely serious legal liability for someone who is quickly exhausting the sympathy of the courts.

We'll see if this point can be made more over time. I may ask other women he trusts to make the point as well.

I know you feel bad for Chris, but the best thing to do is cut ties. Many a white knight have tried to talk sense into Chris. Having a heart to heart or being frank with Chris seem to work for a while, but after that, he's back to his old game. It's like he looks for the right time when he believes the coast is clear, so he can tard out. We've witnessed this pattern several times. Chris doesn't care how he looks or how he makes people feel, he just cares about engaging in make-believe land where he's a 14-year-old tartlet married to Magi-chan and flirtin with grown men.
If this mother does talk to Chris, make sure she's frank. Tell her how he comes off to people, and how nothing in the world will ever change that. Though, I doubt this approach would work.

I see those who already hate Chris are trying hard to push the narrative that he was acting like a dangerous nutter running round a con groping and kissing all and sundry.

When the facts as we know them (from this thread, which is all I've read) are this: Chris was at the con, people were asking him for selfies, he'd put his arm around them for the selfie and sometimes try to peck them on the cheek.

Perhaps I come from another time but it's nothing. The arm is completely innocuous (remember, we have no reports of groping arses or whatever). The kiss is perhaps too much for some but like the guy in the Tweet you just pull away and laugh.

Thank god that the Chandlers didn't have a ton of guns like the Lanzas because I could see him try to go on a shooting spree after one of these incidents.
