Why are people mad at Null? He's actually doing something nice for Chris, and it's definitely something he needs seeing as he recently got scammed and is under a pretty much constant barrage of dumbfucks. Null is also asking for nothing in return which makes him a better man than most already.

Although this is totally Chris' fault. Don't kiss people if they don't want it, yeesh.

I actually approve of what @Null is trying to do here. The amount of low-effort shit thrown at Chris is insane, from the scams ("I'm Mr Claudius Cashinski, looking to fund your Sonichu game!"), to the catfishing, to the outright mean-spirited stuff ("You suck, die in a fire!").

None of it is funny. In the past, some of it was, because it was minor shit like drawing Rosechu with a dick or shooping a Sonichu balloon into a Gay Pride Parade.

But these days, mist of it is just being cruel and exploitative to a vulnerable adult who is TRYING to put past shit behind him.


But the big issue you're gonna run into, Null, is that Chris has two issues that have a horrible synergy:

1) He needs mental help due to his autism, his terrible upbringing, and his delusions. But...

2) He has a huge ego that's bolstered by all of that. So he thinks he's fine, other people just don't understand his (Obviously correct, to him) way of thinking. And even if he wasn't, he will see getting help as somehow "beneath him".


It's a real catch-22. He's an adult, so you can't FORCE him to get help no matter how much he needs it. I've seen this before with a lot of mentally ill folks in my life and, unfortunately, it's always an uphill battle.

I feel bad for him sometimes, like all this stuff could've been prevented if he was just given proper care early in his life. I wonder what he would be like if he was given care early on?

He could have been the best cart-pusher any Virginia Wal-Mart ever saw, but I think that's about it. Cwcville probably would have been created and eventually forgotten, but who knows? Sonichu would have been a lot more boring without the wreckage of his fucked-up life to give it villains (pretty much how the last few issues with Nightstar were tbh).

I think this dude found a redit conversation with Evan, the guy who pulled away in the video. It gives a little bit more insight and echoes the sentiment of why no sane man wants a kiss from Chris. Evan, if it is him, under the username of transhomer even recalled how Chris tried to keep up the falsetto. This in my opinion was to get Chris to come off as a cute girl. This is why I don't think it was all that innocent. If this was just your drunk Irish uncle who went in for a friendly kiss, I doubt he would try to make you perceive him as a girl.

You have to remember though, he carries the genes of the people who made these awful decisions. Personality is something like seventy percent heritable. Two stupid, selfish assholes rarely have a great kid, even if they get taken away and raised by good parents. It's possible that Chris could have been given every advantage and actively rejected all of it in favor of being the type of guy he is now. That's the extreme of a range of outcomes, but such people totally exist. It's depressing as fuck for social workers and such to watch that go down regularly.

Yes, BUT he didn't fuck up at Brony con or Omega con. His ego definitely got the best of him this time.

Depends, He's not doing much to fulfill his patreon goals.... BUT he does a decent job at fulfilling Ebay/Etsy orders. Those in question, late or not, are mostly still fulfilled in due (sometimes late) time.

It's not that Chris doesn't lie. It's that people dramatically overstate his rate of lying. When Chris lies, it's a rare event worth noting, and it's incredibly hilarious because he gets shifty and sweaty, like a cartoon.

But most of the time, when people accuse Chris of lying, he's not lying, he's saying something he earnestly believes because he believes in goofy stuff. Like Chris believing in this cartoon world stuff.

Like I said, you can understand Chris a lot better if you ask "how or why does Chris believe this?" more than "is Chris lying?".

Filtering his emails for him is practical, because it weeds out the people trying to influence him. But when you start talking about teaching Chris about boundaries so he won't get into trouble at the next con you might send him to, you are talking about influencing him yourself, for better or for worse. Not only that, it is in all likelihood a fool's errand, how many people have already tried? I don't know what you got up your sleeves, but it better be better than just another boyfriend-free girl preaching to him, because he's not going to learn it if he didn't already learn it from Megan.
