I have confidence there wont be problems at the convention because after TMG I told Chris that a repeat would cause a preemptive bann from all conventions. There's a difference between trolls going "don't let Chris come, he said homophobic shit in 2006!" and "don't let Chris come, he's been accused of sexual misconduct at more than one convention". Since then, Chris has gone to at least one other convention and didn't encounter similar issues IIRC.

My fear is the plane trip but I'm going to contact the airliner and notify them that Chris is a first time flier who will need assistance. I'll also give some frequent flier tips for a good trip and check on the luggage situation.

Much as the saltier among us (myself included, a lot of the time) would love to see Chris getting too gropy again and ending up trying to hedgehog-roll out of trouble, he's not going to do it. For all of Chris's attempting to brush it under the carpet when talking about it with Null after TMG (mainly by spouting a lot of shit about Rei Ryghts or whatever that CPU goddess crap is all about), Null stuck to his guns and made it repeatedly clear that Chris pulling that shit again could, in all likelihood, end up with him being permanently banned from pretty much any con that he'd want to go to. And, to Null's credit, he finally managed to drum that into Chris's thick, potato-shaped skull.

In the final analysis, Chris wants to stay at cons as long as he can, so that he can get more ego-massage from weens and waste yet more tugboat and donations on crappy, overpriced merchandise. Those are the bigger rewards for him. So he'll be a good boy.

Chris has already paid for the event and accommodation, but his travel plan was stupid, even for Chris. This is preventing the Chris-Chan saga ending with the van breaking down and Chris getting shot by some redneck/starving to death/being eaten by a bear/dying of some form of exposure/being picked up by a cult/getting abducted by aliens.

It's nice for him to get out the house and get some social contact (as long as he doesn't get too touchy-feely!) as well as getting away from Barb for a little while (wonder how she is?).

Alas, I don't trust Chris to provide the services he promised in return, so I personally won't be throwing a tenner his way, but I won't be calling anyone who does a fucking mong.
